Mice, Mice, and More Mice August 31, 2025 Move out date July 17, 2025 Update Nothing has changed as far as the temperature controlled units...hotter than ever. Sweat factor the same. No changes after a phone call from management blaming previous owner for swamp coolers being turned off and no service available...smh This truly has to change or tenants need to be compensated for the issues that obviously can't be fixed. It's 3:45pm and the office is closed. June 28, 2025 Update (Extra Space) NO LONGER CLIMATE CONTROLED METAL BOX UNITS (THE TEMPERATURE 108° OUTSIDE AND 120° INSIDE) ALL OF MY PRODUCTS, CANDLES, SOAPS, AND PERSONAL ITEMS MELTED. IT'S SWELTERING INSIDE THAT I SWEATED OUT MY CLOTHING IN LESS THAN 15 MINUTES INSIDE. MORE THAN UPSET! FIRST AN UNEXPECTED RATE HIKE, NO NOTICE OF SELLING THE STORAGE TO ANOTHER COMPANY (Storage One to Extra Space), GATE CODES CHANGED WITHOUT NOTICE, FORCED TO SIGN A NEW LEASE, AND STILL NO PRESENCE OF ONSITE STAFF. (Storage One) Unfortunately, I have had my personal belongings here for a while now; but lately, I am a bit disturbed by the people hanging out in the facility. I had a half dressed woman scoping out my storage unit as she walked by to then turn around to ask if I wanted to buy drugs from her. I asked a guy in the front office about added security and more servailence for the property; he states that's a good logical question, but he couldn't answer it. On the following visit: the locked restroom is to stop people from living in the storage units per the rude lady at the front desk; Driver’s License is required to use it now. Many management changes, but Adam and Nakia were their best thus far. On the recent visit, the presence of bugs was all over my belongings (I'm going to have to reseal my boxes), which has never been a problem in the past 2 years. The facility used to be kept pristine but has fallen off drastically. Contacting someone in corporate or even the local office has been difficult. I just wish that they cared more about the facility and it's loyal customers. ... Read more

Ive had a unit here since December and while things went decently up until over the last 3 months they have had an infestation of rats in the units and since switching companies they took our their air conditioning units out and added swamp coolers to the inside building. Its hotter inside than it is outside in the scorching Vegas sun. As someone with health issues and who is fully disabled I can barely go into my unit without almost passing out and if I stay more than 5 minutes let alone move something I am putting my life as risk. I have brought this to their attention and was just laughed at in office by the faculty and was simply given a number to call that I can make a claim for property damage. ... Read more

Wonderful experience... Met Adam a week prior to signing a unit and it took Adam about 10 minutes to complete the process when I came in today. Storage Facility is very clean and I believe he stated it was built about three years ago. I would recommend anyone looking for a unit to call in and speak to Adam ???????????? ... Read more

I'm pleased with most of their way of doing things. Price is good relative to size, term, and safety. But, when I asked for a refund because we never actually moved anything into the unit because we ended up dumping the furniture we'd originally wanted to store there, they failed to credit me the refund. ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Extra Space Storage - 2870 East Fremont include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 400 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Extra Space Storage - 2870 East Fremont start from $59 and can go up to $314 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
