Do not rent space from this place, the property manager Ferrell is a complete scam artist if you’re looking to rent a commercial space from him. He will not return your calls or messages unless you tell him it’s an emergency regarding the property. If you need permits signed he will keeping you waiting halfway through your lease then make excuses on why you can’t do your business on his properties but offer it to the neighboring renters from under you. Overall a bad experience with a horrible business owner. ... Read more

Ants, tweakers, water damage, and half the time the cameras don't even work. Plus the workers leave the gate open so anyone can just walk up and snoopy neighbors in all directions so forget about privacy. If i could give 0 stars i would but trust me the 24hr access isnt worth all the headaches. ... Read more

It performed its function, it held my stuff and it was all there when I got back. Whenever I had any issues or questions they staff was polite and more than helpful. I would certainly consider using their storage facility again. One thing that would have been nice would be to have a dumpster on the facility. The summer before I was provided a better price for the same size but overall its a reliable facility. Also, they have easy access to enter the facility and your storage unit which was amazing! ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Pecos I Self Storage - 1320 Pecos include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location, Credit Cards Accepted and Multi-Level Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
