    You are only able to access your belongings during their office hours so hope you don’t need to get your things any other time that that because you will not be able to access them. On their website it says “ our convenient access 7 days a week make it easy to get to your belongings whenever you need them.” which is a complete lie.     The person who helped me was totally awesome. I was unloading my second load and arrived 5 minutes to close and the lady was super nice and let me unload my stuff even though she done l locked up the door.     This place is pretty good for the price. I got one of their smallest units (4x4). The only issue I had with my unit was the lack of accessibility. I have to get a much taller more able bodied friend to help me get things in and out of the upper 4x4 units. They're also made out of wood that is starting to show its age so take care from splinters. The customer service was really good. They make it really easy to pay online or over the phone. The guy there is really friendly and helpful. He didn't make moving in or out a big fuss, super easy to work with. The overall shape of the building can lead to awkward encounters. Where my particular unit was, the passage was fairly narrow so it makes it difficult to drive around anyone in that one spot. It's easier in compact cars. Overall I'd say 4 stars.     The Manager Michael was extremely helpful. They did not have a unit available on my first trip there, but Michael said there was a possible move-out and he would call me if the unit became available. The next day the unit was not available but Michael still called me to let me know the status. A day or two after that, Michael called again and told me the unit was available if I still wanted to rent from Lohman Self-Storage. I truly appreciate how he followed up with me. He could have rented that same unit to any other person who came in looking for one. He honored his word and I would tell anyone to rent from Michael because I know he would take care of them if he had a unit available that would fit their needs. ... Read more

    We moved to this location from the U-haul Self Storage on El Paseo in Las Cruces because we needed to downsize and for our needs Lohman Self Storage was the most affordable option. At U-haul we had two different size units that were climate controlled. The smaller unit was smaller than our unit at Lohman Self Storage, but about $20 more per month, so it seemed logical to switch. The only two reasons I'm not giving this location a 5 out of 5 stars is because the climate controlled area of the facility is not as efficient as I would have liked and there are no lights on the inside of the units, just outside in the halls. Another possible downside, depending on how you look at it, is that there is not 24 hour access. There has to be a staff member in their office out front to open the units at the beginning of the day and close the units at the end of the day. These staff members are in charge of policing any possible illegal active (like homeless people squatting in the units), and doing sweeps of the units to make sure nothing was left outside of the units in the halls. This became very helpful when Ira, one of the staff members, brought to our attention that we had left some important items outside our unit in the hall. We had no idea this had happened, but the next time we visited our unit he went out of his way to flag us down and deliver the items we had left behind. This staff member was also extremely helpful and gracious before and after this incident. I would definitely recommend Lohman Self Storage to friends and family. ... Read more
