This is a great place to store your items. I had no problem getting a storage unit when I needed one. But the only thing was when I got it I found out it was to small, so I checked with management and they bent over backwards to get me a larger one. I highly recommend this storage company. ... Strict rules and security will keep your belongings safe. Personality conflict kept me from staying their client; personality clash aside, this is a well run facility that I would not hesitate to recommend to those who are security minded and far more agreeable than myself. ... Read more

I am rather picky about where I store my personal belongings. Ive been around and have utilized storage units here, there, far and abroad. I feel comfortable with this company and must note that the young man helping me was more than willing to go above and beyond, a true testament to his military background, law enforcement experience and I'm willing to say the way this company is run is a reflection of who it hires. I'm very happy. I have only one concern. The trees hanging over the security wire (usually a different name) on the west side of the perimeter is super accessible because it serves as a blanket for thieves, vandals, angry ex boyfriends, girlfriends and the like. A couple of other security problems could be eliminated rather easily as well but I only had about 5 maybe 7 minutes to find the first 7 problems. Next time you guys provide a lock keep the second key. It's just quicker that way. I know people change locks and you need to cut through them but maybe you'll get lucky. Perhaps I could help some day. End note. I really liked the young man working that day. Keep him around. ... Read more

I showed up to pull out some things from storage on a Sunday a few weeks ago. The establishment was closed but patrons are able to access storage with the codes provided during the registration process. Unfortunately, I kept inputting the wrong code. I called customer service and one of the managers immediately picked up to assist me. He was professional and eager to help which surprised me being that it was his weekend. He drive all the way out to assist me in putting my code in correctly. These people go above and beyond to assist their customers and I am glad to be doing business with them. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Discount Self Storage - 2190 Holiday include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 250 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Discount Self Storage - 2190 Holiday start from $50 and can go up to $140 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
