Catalytic converter stolen in covered parking area sometime between 1/20 and 2/20/2024. Owner says "sorry it happened, you're not the first". Officer with the Sheriff's Department stated other thefts have been reported at this business. We believed the storage facility was more secure than it actually is. ... Read more

My catalytic converter was stolen here. I'm giving it 5 stars still because no crime is 100% preventable. I did "feel" safer here because of all the security cameras etc but when my catalytic converter was stolen they said my spot didn't have cameras. There are times the gates are just left open. The price only increases $5 / year which isn't bad at all when you take the price of a gallon of gas alone nowadays into account. Management is always nice and very easy to reach. I no longer store here because that wouldn't be a smart move for me personally. But, 3 years and nothing happened, until it finally did. It is what it is. No problems in canceling monthly payments. There is a dump/rv wash station and I really liked the place. Great pricing as well. ... Read more

We have stored our RV here in a covered bay for over a year. This place is easy to get to off 25, yet away from traffic and is very secure. They have water and a dump for use which really makes parking after a trip and preparing for a trip much easier. No driving around trying to find a dump sight and paying extra fees. The bay is big enough we feel our rv is protected from the sun and enough room between vehicles that there is no problem getting in and out of the bay. Prices are reasonable and definitely beats building on a rv port or garage on our house. ... Read more

My father used this company to store his RV. Long story short, despite my father canceling the service, as he sold his RV, and communicating that information to the owner, this thief continues to bill my father. Not only does he continue to bill him for monthly storage, but he assesses a late fee. This business is fraudulent. This business should not be a business. ... Read more

It is a good place to store you property, never had an issue with someone messing with my stuff or anyone else's as far as I know. When we cancelled our agreement and provided them with a written notification that we were not storing there anymore, they didn't get around to processing it for a full month and was billed an additional month in the process. The reasons I was given were not the reasonable/responsible business responses one would expect from a business of any type. It is unimportant to me that your associates are out of town, what is important that you respect the customer enough to apologize for the mix up and process a correction immediately, not at your earliest convenience. If all your customers get treated this way and you expect sympathy for unavailable partners/employees, I would be surprised if you can maintain your operation in the future. The facility is pretty good, the people running it, not so much. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Advanced RV Storage - 5500 Del Rey Blvd include the following amenities: Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location, Parking, Enclosed, Keyless Unit Access, Multi-Level Storage and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
