I've been using this storage place for a little over 4 years now and I haven't had any problems. The staff are always kind and attentive. The whole place is always clean. My storage unit was very clean when I first rented it. Another thing I really like is that it's gated in, so you need a code to get in. This is an addition to my previous posting under Jacklyn Cataldo. In addition, on my 10 by 30 ft unit my two back doors would not open. I repeatedly complained after several weeks to both managers Lori and Rob. Then finally after 3 weeks Rob scraped the dirt from under the door where the ground had raised leaving a 2-inch deep Gap that now allowed the mice to enter my unit without properly sealing the gap. I then have to submit the Gap to security unit from my entry and from further destroying my property. Additionally, call manager Rob is responsible for handling general routine maintenance at the Baylor facility. Rob has every possible excuse for not performing his duties and not conducting these necessary in crucial repairs and does not put the bottom rails on the doors to secure the units. These rails are provided by the owner Mr. Wieg. Both manager Lori and Rob are too busy to perform their duties, but they are not too busy to spend all day on their cell phones, etcetera and not performing their duties with a complete disregard to their property. Manager Rob is physically capable of performing his duties but he intentionally chooses not to perform his duties and provides every possible fraudulent excuse for not performing them. Unfortunately the owner Mr. Wieg does not know of the conduct of managers Lori and robbed inadequate in fraudulent managerial practices because he resides in California and only relies on what Lori and Rob verbally tell him. Because I was a long-term tenant I had a rapport with managers Lori and Rob for some time. However, Lori and Rob manages this facility "second to their personal relationship with each other. This occurs on a regular basis. Some examples. Lori will interrupt providing customer service when her husband literally calls her on the cell phone and wants a cigarette or his lighter when he is in the the bathroom. Lori intentionally put all of her customers second to being at her beck and call of her husband Rob doing everything from drying your hair, playing with their grandson, cooking etc. Both Lori and Rob are inseparable couple and literally spend all day on their cell phones, everything from watching youtube, movies, playing various games and provide customer service secondary to their personal activities and lifestyle and the owner does not even know this horrible conduct by managers Lori. I strongly suggest and recommend that you read the reviews of the U storage It facility on Baylor drive you will read the managers Lori and Rob's together with their family members own five-star reviews to fraudulently deceive current and prospective custo out their facility by means of faults and fraudulent misrepresentation to con the perspective customers to lease storage units at the Baylor facility. To note. I am personally proceeding with the filing of a lawsuit against U-Store-It and managers Lori and Rob as well for their fraudulent business practices at the U storage facility on Baylor drive. Please don't be a VICTIM at u-store-it. Please lease another storage unit at another facility for the safekeeping of your personal and business property. The times that you are able to access the storage units are very limited. Closed day before and the day after Christmas,holidays and Closed Sundays so in short its Closed when people are off work when people need to get stuff done .the people running it are nice so they get an extra star and it's a little cheaper but if I had to do all over again I would go somewhere else. ...
