I have always found the automated call when the bill is due to be unprofessional. It's rude and disrespectful. Granted it's not a human, however a human created it. I have been renting a unit here, making 1 year next month and I have experienced not having access to my unit on several occasions, the worst was when i needed an item and was penalized for not being able to produce it. I had waited over 2 hours to gain access and no one knows why or how my access code wasn't working at the time and now for over 2 months, although my payments were made and received timely. I have almost always paid at the location. I recently lost a loved one and missed my payment date. I really don't feel a need of explaining the impact this has had on my life in general, yet I feel the storage post lack of humanity with its automated outreach for the payment is rude on so many levels. The customer service i received today was dry and lacked actual customer service. It was more of a "storage post" service. I either pay over $50 for a late fee or setup auto pay, no other options. It's sad after paying over 300 a month for a year, where is the customer appreciation? Customer support? What happened to customer service? I was disappointed when I had no access after traveling to this location several times. I feel i should be refunded at least for the months of January and part of February because I had no access to my items, and because i wasted time to travel there, only to get there and not be able to access the facility, to get to my unit, yet it was like it didn't happen. An maybe I should have been complaining more, but i don't see the benefit of returning rude behaviors, I'd rather just resolve the issue and move on. Initially i moved into this location because it advertised 24 hour access, and the access has never been 24 hours. I mostly have the weekend to go and it's unfortunate that for 2 months I had no access, because there was no customer service to assist me. Not even on the help line at the location, why is that monitor there if it's not really able to service customers? We all need to get our priorities in order, maybe storage post priorities are themselves and not the customers. Either way, I only want to deal with businesses that actually show they appreciate my business and offer good customer service at the least. My sentiments are disguarded, dissatisfied, disappointed. ... Read more

The staff on-site is excellent, my move-in was seamless, and I'm happy with my storage unit. However, if you are considering this location, I would avoid renting online & speak to someone in-person. Context: In an online promotion, I was promised two free months but the lease I was originally provided did not honor that. I asked for an edit multiple times & was ignored. Due to moving deadlines, I was pressured to sign the lease without the edits. I was ghosted by customer service until I left a 2-star review & then my concerns were finally addressed. Regardless, I'm glad that they've honored my original agreement & I now have a new lease in place at a convenient, clean, safe storage facility. ... Read more

Rent here with caution. My unit was supposedly broken into, but I personally think it was Storage Post themselves. I got a text saying my unit was "compromised." According to them, they found the unit with the door open and the locks still on. Someone was able to open the unit somehow. When I did a quick look, everything was still inside (Thank God). The more I think about it, I personally believe the office confused my unit with someone else's who hadn't paid -- like they broke in (which is their policy for non-payment) and immediately realized the error. Think about it... Who breaks into a unit and doesn't take anything? Again, good for me, but it's just incredibly odd. On top of that, I immediately requested the security footage. I was told they were downloading it and there no time frame for when it'd be done. I asked at least 10 questions about the footage and was met with zero answers. You'd think they'd be some sense of urgency to find out who is breaking into units. Like this DOES affect your overall business and the safety of your customers. The overall vibe was very much "hey, we gave you a free lock, stop complaining." ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Storage Post - 203 Broadway include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Storage Post - 203 Broadway start from $9 and can go up to $594 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
