Got a defective 10 x 25 unit that had massive crack from one end to the other so water could seep in. They moved me to another unit right next-door, but I had to pay out of my pocket and take time off To move all of my belongings to the new unit, and they had the audacity to charge me a $46 administration fee for the new unit. Wouldn’t recommend! ... Read more

We have rented a large climate-controlled unit for a few years, beginning when this was owned by King's Storage. Since the transfer to Prime Storage, we became frustrated and have since moved to a competitor's location in Seabrook. First, the door to the building was unlocked for several months, and despite reporting it, it was left unsecured for quite some time. Second, there were consistently flying insects smeared across the exit door; I believe they were small moths of some kind as my wool clogs experienced moth damage in storage. Third, although this building was supposedly climate controlled, the temperatures fluctuates wildly, from low 50's in the winter to nearly 90s this summer. It was so hot, in fact, that our move-out experience was very difficult. For $189 monthly, plus rental insurance, units at Prime Storage will be a hard pass for me. ... Read more

Since Prime Storage bought out our LOCAL storage Co, the rates have DOUBLED! Alot of us "elderly" & "disabled" live on VERY fixed incomes. Let me ask you a question. Would you like it if a storage company raised the price to store your Mother's or Grandma's family heirlooms? I have been disabled for over 20 years. There's no "raise" in my future. Perhaps you could consider a discount for the elderly and disabled. TY for listening. ... Read more

I came in with my friend looking for a storage unit with his car, we weren’t sure if we were going to buy a unit before arriving. We arrived and talked about wanting a 10x15 unit. This very nice gentleman Stephen, seems like he is a little new, super helpful. He walked us around to two of their available units showed us the units, we decided on one and then he walked us back inside and checked us out. He was super informative and helpful, knew what he was doing. Start to finish on our experience was incredible and super efficient. I cannot wait to continue storing our stuff at prime storage. Highly recommend this storage place for anyone looking to store their stuff!! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Prime Storage - 6 Kings Way Avenue include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 4 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Prime Storage - 6 Kings Way Avenue start from $29 and can go up to $259 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
