My family and I are relocating and thus were looking for a storage unit to store some items in anticipation of selling our home. I went to the Midtown (Center Street) location for proximity, and my parents have used the Bellevue location since 2010, or longer, with only positive praise. I first went to the office on a Friday afternoon to inquire about the cost of renting and sizes available. Micky, who I later came to find out is the property manager, was working. She immediately seemed inconvenienced or annoyed with my entrance and inquiry about their services. After this initial first impression she was professional, though, so I chalked it up to just a bad day. I told her I wanted to talk it over with my wife and would return soon if we decided to continue. We thought the prices and options were reasonable, so I returned on Monday to proceed with obtaining a new unit. I arrived at the office around 2:50pm to find the doors locked and the “open” sign turned off. I checked the hours that were listed online and confirmed they should be open and close at 4:30 pm. I decided to wait to see if someone was working as we were in sort of a time crunch and needed to start getting belongings moved. After approximately 10-15 minutes, the property manager returned to the office. I came to door and was again met with the same attitude as the first interaction just days prior. I proceeded to state that I would like to open an account for a new storage unit and asked if that was ok. Micky stated she was on her lunch break and would be done in 15 minutes (3:18pm). I said ok and I would return. I waited until 3:30pm, a full 12 minutes later, to return for which I was met with an eye-roll when arriving to the door. She opened the door and almost reluctantly assisted me with my request. However, her irritable demeanor continued with cold and short questions to obtain the necessary information. After one or two questions I informed her that I would like to talk to her manager. I was not surprised that she did not ask why as it further confirmed that her behavior was purposeful. During the rest of the time she took phone calls (from other locations I assume) and told these individuals how busy her day was. Working in healthcare, I understand how frustrating busy days can be, but that doesn’t give anyone the right to treat others with disrespect. A person looking to utilize your services and bring more business to your location should not be treated as a nuisance. My last suggestion is if you/she wants an uninterrupted lunch, which should be allowed, a simple sign on the door would suffice rather than glaring at unsuspecting, new customers. This review was emailed to her manager as well and hopefully it can be used to improve Micky’s and the Midtowns location’s customer service. ... Read more

I would NEVER recommend renting at the location on Center St. I had a fairly decent experience during the rental process. However, when it was time to end my contract, this company is the WORST. On July 1, 2024, I called Dinos by phone to inform them that I would be moving out on Aug. 1st. They stated all move outs have to be done online only. I went online and submitted my move out form and received the confirmation email from Dinos. I moved out as expected on Aug. 1st and relocated out of state. I then decided to check my bank statements and discovered that Dinos had continued to deduct monthly payments. I went online and submitted another move out form and called Dinos customer service to complain. Their customer service confirmed that both move out forms were in deed received and the local office will need to fix it. When I was transferred to the location on Center St., they had no clue about my move out form and put me on hold for 10-15 min. When they came back, they stated “Oh, it’s because you left a lock on the door “. At this point I was really upset because if they did their job by checking the unit and the move out form two months prior, they would have noticed it, and contacted me. Regardless, I’m out of state and told them I would be unable to remove a lock and since I’ve already turned over the unit, it’s their responsibility. They then said I would have to submit another move out form and pay a fee to remove the lock. Umm, they already took two months of payments after two move out forms were submitted, yet refuse to end my lease. Then after speaking to the incompetent person by the name of Nika, she decided to send me a “Notice of Auction” email stating that I have a past due balance and my items will be auctioned for default of payment. What items??? I submitted two move out forms back in July and August, I no longer lease a unit so how is there a default in payment? I told her this several times, and they still can’t do a simple job. I eventually had to file fraud charges with my bank and barred this company from taking more money from my account. Rather than admit they failed to review my move out forms and inspect the unit back in August, they want to end my contract fraudulently. BE AWARE, DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Dino-s Storage - 5328 Center Street include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
