Ive been with Starlo Mini Storage, going on about 3 yrs. They have been nothing but professional & polite. Ive not always paidy rent on time but, Wendy, is extremely understanding. I would highly recommend Starlo Mini Storage. Not having a 9-5 schedule is very convenient as im in nursing & work graveyards. Being able to access at anytime is awesome. ... Read more

I've had a storage unit with Starlo for longer than I can remember. I've never had any problem with anything. I pay automatically out of my debit card but, there are many choices. You can take in a payment, dropping a pymt through the slot in the door of the office, pay online, on the phone if you have to, or auto pay. I've never had any 'incidences' in my 8+ yrs. You can get to your unit anytime of day. You can put an extra lock on your unit if you want. But they do have locks already on your door. If I've ever had to get in touch by calling they've always gotten back within a day. I highly recommend Starlo Mini Storage. They are kind, easy to work with and fair. They graciously helped me when I asked if I could change to a smaller unit. Of course rates just went up but everything's going up so that is nothing unusual. They may have a wait?? But you can easily get online and check availability. ???????? ... Read more

Yes Starlo switched owners and yes the new owners are wonderful! I am not sure what these reviews are with 1 star but I disagree. The owners plow continuously in the winter so you can access your unit. They help remind those of us that pay a year at a time when our bill is due. They get back to you promptly. Best of all, never had a break-in. ... Read more

I took my fiance here to look and convince him this was a great place to have a handful of units for our business, he doesn't trust units and it took alot of convincing. As we were discussing the next steps to obtaining 6 units. A random guy approached us, with out introducing himself. He immediately broke the 6 foot boundary rule and started demanding personal information. It was unprofessional. His childish intimidation tactics were weak and uncalled for, and will also damage his pocket heavily. My family and fiances family are choosing to switch units immediately. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Starlo Mini Storage - 201 Monroe Street include the following amenities: 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 64 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Starlo Mini Storage - 201 Monroe Street start from $63 and can go up to $116 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
