We want to thank Elysian storage for being so helpful during our stressful move. Love the ease of being able to move in using the kiosk The units were clean and easy to get to. The lady I contacted was very pleasant and helpful. Thanks again. I plan on recommending your facility to my daughter who will be moving there this summer. ... Read more

DO NOT RENT HERE DO NOT RENT HERE DO NOT RENT HERE I’ve been renting here for a long time, but I was out of the country. I returned last month to check my storage unit and retrieve my belongings, only to find that all important stuff had been stolen. I filed a police report, but unfortunately, I don’t have insurance. ... Read more

My husband and I buy storage units and this is one we refuse to work with since both times it was hard to ahold of anyone. When you do get through the lady that you end up talking to is very rude and disrespectful. Also when trying to return personal items such as pictures and paperwork to get them back to the proper owner they refuse to do so. Even though contracts state it is their responsibility. Do not rent units here and definitely do not buy units from here. ... Read more

Difficult to get a real person to help you out. Everything is done thru a broken kiosk. You have to buy a lock from them even if you had your own lock. A benefit for the absent landlord but not someone on a budget. Dirt roads that are muddy and the location was a bit too far for me. All in all, pay a little more and get some quality. ... Read more

We were in it 3 days when somebody broke in and stole everything of value. We met another couple a couple of units up from us and they had just been robbed. The deputy that responded to the call told us there had been over 100 breakins reported for this place. The woman that takes calls is unpleasant, unhelpful and I’m amazed they even answer their phone. Complete rip-off. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Elysian Mini Storage - 6433 Elysian Road include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
