This is the worst storage unit. Gate code always has an issue. Today I went to my unit again code didn’t work. They said they needed my a copy of my licenses that’s I’ve sent twice already and had to provide before I could rent the unit. It’s now storming just about everything I own is now soaking wet and most is ruined. The temp code didn’t work even after they received my license. Upper management was also no help. Stay away from this business. Tina Drumm ... Read more

Today I spoke with Isrrael to resolve some issues with the website and a new rental. He was extremely helpful. He remember every question I asked and answered each one of them without me having to repeat myself. He was very kind and he was able to resolve my issue and help me immediately. Customer service from Isrrael was Chick-fil-a level professional. ... Read more

Call to talked with Terry Sorage about the price of a 5x10 because my previous storage place had raised my rental fee. Spoke with Michelle and she offered me a 10x10 for $5 less than what I would've been paying for that smaller 5×10. Now that's what I call a great deal ???? Thanks again Michelle! ... Read more

This place is just bad. I rented and payed online for a storage unit. Was sent a confirmation email with instructions. The instructions do not give the correct gate code combination saying the code ends with a *, but only the combination and # button will work. I get to my unit Monday morning and there is a lock on the unit locking it open. Also because of there lock the door only opens half way. So I called customer which is just an answering service with no direct number to anybody that works for the storage. Insane!! I have waited 3 hours and loaded the whole unit with the door half open. I can’t leave until they get here to take there lock off!! My uhaul is supposed to be turned in as I write this review waiting for somebody to arrive and help after calling customer service three times and not getting one call back about what is going on. If something isn’t done about these bad business practices nothing will ever change!! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Terry Self Storage - 103 I-55 West Frontage Road include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
