Once again I was informed that someone would be at this location to take my payment but nobody was in the building because I had knocked on the door numerous times, I waited for a couple of minutes still no response so something told me to walk around to look for someone which I did and they were cleaning out some storage units. My point is that I shouldn't have to look for someone to make a payment especially if I'm being told that someone will be in the office. ... Read more

Absolutely worst storage place I’ve ever experienced! Had constant issues with their app and getting into the facility. They upped our rent a total of six times in a year it started as 100 a month and it went over 300, and that’s when we decided to leave! We left before the month was up and I have a recording of them saying that we’re done and that we owe nothing and they still tried to send us to collections for the next month even though we were 100% out of there and the key was returned. None of the storage units were not in great shape either and there was no good customer service. I also believe they are deleting comments because when I first started renting there, they were rated worse. I recommend nobody go here! ... Read more

Id give them 0 stars if i could. I had one of the units inside. There are 20-40 other units. I had no problems until it was move in day and all of a sudden there’s a huge padlock on the outside door. Locking everyone out there unit. No warning no key. Just locked me out my unit. Nobody answered the calls. I left voicemails. Nothing. ... Read more

Constantly raising prices every few months, not worth it. Also giant gaps in the storage units just means other tenants will throw trash into yours before moving out. Only reason I'm staying with them is essentially now being trapped with them due to the amount of things I have to store with them. Scummy practices, go with any other business when it comes to storage. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 1550 North Lindbergh Blvd include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 20 to 315 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 1550 North Lindbergh Blvd start from $20 and can go up to $212 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
