Wow, highly recommend you don’t rent a unit here. Not sure if they will retaliate against me for this review as I currently have a unit with them and they know who I am but I need to warn people of their deceptive practices. Rented a unit in July. $140. Great deal! One month later, get charged for insurance we didn’t approve. Had to send them declaration page of our home owners insurance to get it off, but only going forward. No credit back for what they had charged us without approval. Another month goes by, we get a 10 day notice-not 30- that the rate is going to $170!!! What the actual hell? No time to move all of our crap back out to a reputable storage facility. Couldn’t even get a YEAR without our rate increasing. Then in November my debit card was cancelled as someone got a hold of my number and tried to charge a bunch of money. Didn’t even think about the auto payment for Storage. Called them to make the payment and get the new card info online. Would you believe they charged us $34 in LATE FEES? We had to pay $204 for this crap. I do not and will never recommend Storage Mart. ... Read more

The woman that we spoke to and dealt with I think her name was Amanda was the nicest person that that my husband and I have talked to in any rental establishment that we have ever been to. In fact one of the nicest people we have just meet in person all together. Very kind and just a complete joy to speak with thank you for having her as your employee. She's the greatest!! Recommend to everyone we know because of her specifically. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at StorageMart - 7101 Stewart Road include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Keyless Unit Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 600 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
