Started off as good experience with no complaints. Turned in my Move Out date halfway through September with a move out date of October 11th. Got my bill for October that was full price which didn’t make sense considering I was moving out of the unit October 11th. Called them 3 times in 1 day and the office manager didn’t answer or call back once so I went in to talk to her in person. Upon arrival she was just sitting there staring into space and had awful customer service. Proceeded to ask her if October would be prorated since I put my move out date notice 15 days prior to October 1 which is what the lease says and she said “it’s not prorated if you aren’t out by the 7th of the month”. Rechecked my lease and not once does it say you have to be out by the 7th for it to be prorated. Would NOT recommend leasing a unit at least from this location. Company as a whole don’t seem too bad but the leasing manager at this location is rude and doesn’t know what she’s talking about. If there were stars for lack of communication I’d give it 5 stars. This place has the worst customer service ... Read more

I’ve been a customer for three months now, and I have to say, it’s been an interesting experience. My first red flag was the free month promotion that vanished into thin air. A minor detail, I suppose, but the following day, a bigger, more affordable unit popped up. Their solution? To offer me the new unit if I moved all my stuff to the other side of the building. I’ll pass. Then came the surprise $30-plus insurance fee every month—a fee I found out later my existing insurance already covers. This month, my autopay hiccuped, making me late. When I went to pay, they not only refused to remove the insurance fee, but they also piled on another $80 in fees. My $64 unit jumped to $175. The woman at the local facility was completely unwilling to work with me. It’s an all-or-nothing policy on payments, and if it’s not "all," the fees just keep coming. It was only after I called the corporate number that a great representative actually listened to my situation and was willing to compromise, which is how adults should handle things. The difference in customer care between the corporate office and the N Main St. location is staggering. The local staff acts as though my questions and concerns are a personal inconvenience. I’ll be moving out before winter, so this is just a heads-up for anyone considering this specific location. The company itself seems solid, but the local team needs to learn the meaning of customer service. Update 8/26. I got a new bill for over $200 after I paid the first bill. The charge $20 fee just to take away a discount or promo price. Sigh. The email address keeps getting returned undeliverable. This is going downhill really fast guys, come on you got this. ... Kenny, the property manager, was super helpful and just all around awesome to work with. She helped us sort out a mistake I made when I made our selection online and needed to switch to a larger unit. And the unit itself is clean and climate controlled, a nice big size, at a great rate. ... Read more

DON'T DO IT. I only did 2 stars instead of 1 bc at move in the units themselves were clean. But otherwise this place is a complete nightmare. They sold me on one price and I was told it would go up 30% in about 4 months and then increase again in 8-10 months. Fine. But that was a complete lie. My initial cost was $50 and 4 months later they're trying to charge me $152! I was told my options were they could "do their best" and lower it to $108 or I can move to a smaller unit. They denied this being a bait and switch and no apology for their employee lying about the 30%. All they said was "no one should've told you that" Well thank goodness I took notes. I was also ignored when asked if they can do $108 why would they ever try to charge $152 in the first place! They agreed to $108 over the phone but now that I'm going to pay the website is still requesting $152. They have returned my call but they have never once answered during business hours. And all of this was after speaking to my local employee AND the corporate number. I've never been so disappointed and upset by a company's lack of empathy, integrity and customer service. ... I had a pretty awesome experience with this Storage Mart. I can’t remember the front desk lady’s name but she was very amazing. I was in unit 604 and she was very kind every time I came to her with a problem. She also communicated very effectively and was understanding when I was behind. I would definitely rent out another unit here again. ... Read more

I reserved a unit on line. When I arrived with my belongings the unit was clean and ready to move it. I was met with a smile with the lady at the office. She showed me my unit and handed me the lock. I ended up renting an additional unit the next day. Same exact help and pleasant experience. Safe and secure. Affordable and clean ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at StorageMart - 11510 North Main include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 720 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
