DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I have a laundry list of reasons…buckle up. Pictures attached but I was unable to attach the videos that showed the rest and the pics don’t even do justice for how bad it was. 1. The door was broken for the entire 7 days I was there, despite supposedly getting it fixed. 2. Not climate controlled (both garage doors open all day/night so how could it be climate controlled) 3. Cats living inside building and feces in building. 4. Individuals living in storage units. I wouldn’t have believed this if I hadn’t met a person going into the unit across from me. They then closed the door and made it appear to be locked. This is where they stayed the remainder of the day while I tried to move all my belongings back out… I could hear movies playing through the entire day and the lock remained slid out of place. 5. My live in storage neighbor was also smoking (the tops are open so all my stuff smelled like smoke in a matter of two days). That was not the only individual smoking in the building. 6. There was a constant flow of people walking in and out of the unlocked doors. ... Read more

When I first tried to get into the building my gate # didn’t work. I called the company and was on hold for about 45 min to an hour. When they got to me they were kind, gave me a new number that worked. The unit was mostly clean, there was a little bit trash left behind, but it wasn’t bad. ... Read more

Do not rent from here!!!! They have raised their prices yearly for no reason. If you get a smaller unit they place it behind a padlock area and do not provide you the access code. If you call support no one answers. If they do answer they will tell you that you need to provide the Padlock code to them even though they own the faciality they have no idea which means this place doesn't really have 24hr access. This makes move in impossible for someone that tries to move in after 4PM because there are no Customer support reps around. If you ask for an escalation Customer support will dump you into the queue again for someone else to eventually deal with you. I've waited several times on the phone to be answered. The first time I waited 34 minutes and the second time I waited an hour. Just don't do it!! find someplace else that will be consistent on pricing and has a better support model. ... Read more

if i could give a zero i would. i got to my storage unit august 10th 2025, and seen there were caution signs all outside of my unit, i opened it and there was nothing but oil leaking from the air conditioner that was above my unit. nobody notified me which they should’ve if they knew there was a leak RIGHT THERE. all of my stuff was ruined and i still haven’t heard back from a manager and it’s going on September. This wad truly disheartening to see and have happen , especially as a college student. ... Read more

We have been extremely unpleased with our experience at 10 Federal. The exit door has been broken for over a week, I have made numerous calls and was told it would be taken care of. We are moving to Jeff City from out of town so we are not able to monitor the situation and came to bring another load today and the exit door is still wide open. We are paying for three supposedly climate controlled units . We also have witnessed two homeless people walking into the storage units through the broken exit door as well as a broken down car that has been there for days blocking the entrance. Private equity has taken over this storage facility and has done an extremely poor job. We are very familiar with this facility as My parents have had two units here for at least 8 years, it use to be managed by a very attentive woman that was accessible 24 hours a day and there even was a restroom on site. It’s appalling to us that we are paying for the safety of our items to be locked and in a climate controlled building and are dealing with an insecure building wide open to the elements and vagrants. We are very sorry we chose this facility and would warn you before moving your belongings here. ... Read more

NO WAY!!!!!!! I ABSOLUTELY would NOT rent here again… they force you to carry insurance on your items at a fee… then when THEIR facility created a massive water damage to my items… the REFUSED TO accept my insurance claim. Even though we submitted receipts, photos of damage and other evidence, they still refused but WILL FORCE YOU TO PAY FOR THEIR INSURANCE.!!!! Those were just a couple pics!!!! There were so many more! They have also raised their prices so much it’s absolutely absurd! I got another storage unit the same size as wine here for literally $80 cheaper a month!!!!! $80.00!!!!!! ... Read more

SHAME ON THE PEOPLE WHO RUN THIS GREED MACHINE!!! February 13, 2025: I was told I owed $555 and that my storage unit was being auctioned off that day. I asked for an extension. I was told that wasn't possible. March 12, 2025: My storage unit was actually auctioned off. April 21, 2025: Found out my outstanding balance was only $368. I was lied to. I have lost everything I own. EVERYTHING! Had they been honest with me about how much I ACTUALLY OWED and the fact that my unit might not necessarily be auctioned THAT DAY, I would have kept trying to get my life back. From February 2, 2025-February 13, 2025 I did everything I could to try to get my unit paid. And if I had been told the truth, I would have everything that due to their lies, I lost. How is this legal? ... Read more

I was having a run of bad luck in my family. I needed a unit, in the worse kinda way. 10 Federal Storage not only helped with my desperate need of urgency;but they also can be understanding. I was late with the second month due to death in my family. Having been the one that everything falls in recently, bills were adding up. I had to call the 10 Federal Storage to make arrangements on payment. My agent not only had a great hospitality attitude, but was sympathetic with my issue. Hince with that being said I give 10 Federal Storage 5 outta 5 stars ....thank you guys!!! ... Read more

Beware of rate increase. Just signed the lease 2 days ago at a rate of $116 a month plus fees and went to go pay a few months ahead on the bill and the rate immediately jumped up to almost $250 a month. The $116 a month was not including the advertised 50% off the first two months. I expected possible rate increases eventually but less than a week, crazy. Overall I like the facility, If we can agree to an honest rate with no trickery I will gladly stay. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at 10 Federal Self Storage - 2601 Industrial Drive include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location, Parking, Keyless Unit Access and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 600 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by 10 Federal Self Storage - 2601 Industrial Drive start from $56 and can go up to $323 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
