I checked my online portal for days. It kept saying zero balance. I checked every day for a few days. I emailed them and said "Hey it keeps showing zero balance" The guy called me and told me it was probably a glitch. So the next day I logged on again and the balance is there now but there is a late fee. So I get a late fee because your system glitched? $20 late fee because YOUR system glitched. The guy on the phone said "theres nothing I can do about the late fee" I told him I highly doubt that. He said "well it says I dont have high enough clearance to do that" So I said "Go to someone above you because thats not fair" He said "Do not yell at me" Sir, I was not yelling, I changed my tone, grow up to know the difference. I wound up hanging up on him because he is rude and slightly annoying. Guess Ill be looking for a new storage facility. Customer service is SO much worse now the SROA took over. Highly do NOT recommend. ... Read more

We highly do not recommend renting from IStorage if you are looking for a place to rent. We were in two different units and both experiences were not great. We were told we had to have their insurance to rent for our first unit. It was climate controlled. One day we noticed everything was covered in mold. We were told to turn in a claim. We did. Then a month later we found out, it never was actually turned into the insurance company. We had numerous phone calls from different people in the company claiming they were one person, then we would talk to that person and discover they never called us in the first place. It was all “documented” in their system. Then we were told they weren’t covering it. It was a climate controlled space, mold never should have grown on anything in there. It was a bad door seal that they were told about and never fixed. This resulted in us having over $1,500 worth of damage. The manager stated they would call and have the claim looked at again. Never heard another word about it after that. It was never covered. Their “fix” was to move us to another unit that was the same but $30 cheaper and offered us a moving truck to move our belongings. So we moved. Then one weekend we found out that it was broken into with some of our belongings were stolen. We lost another additional $1,500 that we will never see again. There are no cameras that would “help” us with finding who it was that broke in. The staff there are not the nicest, they seem nice at first but then they turn ugly and all customer service is thrown out the window. The fence has been cut into numerous times and who knows how many other people had things stolen. We were the second hit that we know of within a few days. If you want to keep your stuff, I suggest finding somewhere else. ... Read more

Getting the storage space was great. Paperwork went smooth and the lady at the front desk knew what she was doing and was very nice. The only complaint I have is there is a telephone pole right on the line of where my spot starts/stops and the camper wasn’t straight in his spot on the other side so trying to back my boat in around the two was a little difficult. I had maybe six inches on either side. There needs to be lines drawn or rope put up to mark each spot and so people get their items in the spot straight. Other than that it was very good. ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Storage Rentals of America - 1003 Imperial Main Street include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Storage Rentals of America - 1003 Imperial Main Street start from $30 and can go up to $119 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
