Nice facilities! I have stored with Sharp Storage at two of their facilities now (Once for self-storage in Ramsey and every year for my boat at their Boat & RV facility in Elk River) and they have the most helpful staff, cleanest facilities and their security measures are outstanding. Rented a 5x10 for about a year. No water, no bugs. Very clean units, fair price, the area is well lit and easy to access. Shannon / Gail made it easy to get started, auto-payment available was a nice bonus. If they had a facility where I'm moving, I would use them again. ... Read more

I had a great experience for the first couple of years of storing my vehicle with Ramsey Mini Storage. I went to pick up my car this spring and upon removing the poly they had draped over it to protect it from all the falling debris due to the construction that was happening (without my knowledge) around my most beloved possession. I found a nice dent on the roof of my car. Nobody claimed to know anything had happened and had no explanation for me. The entire building was under construction and it was clear the damage was from something falling on the roof. I spoke with Patty Sharp and she agreed to cover half of the $917 bill. A week later they were no longer willing to cover anything. Beware of the fine print in the contract you sign stating Ramsey Storage is NOT LIABLE for any damage that occurs while in storage. I would not recommend storing anything with these crooks. Karma moves quick. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Sharp Storage Ramsey - 6100 NW Bunker Lake Blvd NW include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking and Credit Cards Accepted. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 700 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Sharp Storage Ramsey - 6100 NW Bunker Lake Blvd NW start from $70 and can go up to $380 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
