Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 9913 214th Street West, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I started out online, and then completed the check in process in person. There was quite a bit of paperwork and questions to be answered, but the gentleman at the desk was very friendly and helpful so it went fine. ... Read more

Facility is OK. Asside from going from 24 hour access to limited time unless you want to pay more. It is not like they have anyone there after hours, just charge more because they can get away with it. I've been renting here for 23 months. Originally agreed at $139 per month, including insurance. At month 3 they charged $50 for a new lock. I still have the original lock and have never received any explanation about this, even after asking. Then at 5 months the rate was increased by $40. Then 6 months later by $45 and now, at month 23, they raised it another $40. Under no circumstances is that fair or appropriate to double the cost in under 2 years. I'm a bit stuck here due to limited mobility, but I encourage anyone renting at any Public Storage facility to be on guard for them to gouge you and raise rates every 5 to 6 months, punishing longer term customers. Rip Off Artists should be their name. Since they never respond with anything noteworthy to negative comments, I'd love to see them respond with justifying the cost increases or providing renters with a valid reason, just that it is happening. I'm out as soon as I heal from surgery. ... Read more

Don what an amazing man and how far he went out of his way to help me out after the fact I got swapped all around by the headquarters. Not that they are wrong but Don went out of his way to make a customer very happy and I have nothing bad to say and a great facility and very clean and warm. Thank you so kindly from the kindness of this man. People that take that extra step just to make someone happy needs to know how greatly appreciated that is and thank you Don so much and thank you public storage ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 9913 214th Street West include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 20 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 9913 214th Street West start from $10 and can go up to $264 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
