Well, this would mark the first time Ive been to a storage facility and the manager actually left thw office without a headache! Even after a rocky start to my encounter with the amazing manager, April. The entire facility exceeded my expectations in both cleanliness and security. And to say she completely cleaned this late after what happened in Blaine with the manager and employee working at that facility would be going to far however her enthusiasm and amazing customer service definitely put some elbow grease on that stain! ... We showed up on our move in date, talk with someone at the front, they informed us how to get to our unit, seemed very nice and helpful. When we got to the unit, there was no lock on it yet, and at the unit and surrounding area there were lots of dead bugs you could see that had been moving around the units. We tried going back to the front office and the doors were locked and lights were out. It was only 3pm and the website said they should still have been open. Hopfully i can get my $85 back. ... Best place to store your things 24 hour on site care takers. Locked gate and even patrolled by police but don't worry they don't come through till after close. Affordable at the right time of year and there is always room to negotiate price on how many months you pay. ... Read more

Absolutely not. I would never recommend the experience to my worst enemy. First, the "reservation" online doesn't mean ****. When I got there, the unit I "reserved" was already occupied. I had to settle for a 5x15. Well I made it work, sold most everything that didn't fit in the tiny unit. The "One dollar first month" Turned out to be closer to $60 dollars after all the hidden fees. My locker was bent or jammed, I had to use a screw driver to pry it open in 2 degree weather. During wedging it open I had bashed my cold knuckles causing them to bleed pretty badly. (yes the unit required that much force to open). During closing I mentioned it to the lady and she didn't give a ****, she asked "why did you have to pry it open". No apologies or anything at all. I got down there on the 2nd as quick as I could with a trailer to empty it out. No prorate or anything, I had to pay for the entire month of March. Again, no apology, just a request for $70 so they can then flip the unit and rip off the next guy. I absolutely regret using this place. Nothing about it was convenient. In fact, while I'm here, when I signed up for the unit I was immediately asked to give a review. Almost peer pressured like tipping at a coffee shop. For what? Ripping me off? Falsely advertising a 1st month is a dollar? Letting me reserve a unit that's already occupied? Charging me for an entire month when I checked out on the 2nd? Honestly I wish I could give zero stars. ... Read more

It’s been a great experience with public storage in Eagan. I am switching from a different storage unit to Public storage and they made the process so easy. Fantastic communication from the phone reservation department to the local office staff. I went today to finish my reservation process and had a great experience With Emma. She understood my needs and helped me find exactly the right spot. She explained everything clearly and set everything up for me. Thank you! ... Read more

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this public storage facility. The lack of availability, both in person and over the phone, is simply unacceptable. Every time I needed assistance, there was no one around to help. Attempts to reach out via phone were equally futile, with calls going unanswered and messages not returned. This level of service is terrible and not what I expected. I cannot recommend this storage facility to anyone looking for reliable and accessible storage solutions. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 3735 Sibley Memorial Hwy include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Keyless Unit Access, Elevators, First Floor Access and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 360 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 3735 Sibley Memorial Hwy start from $22 and can go up to $388 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
