They keep raising the rental prices. Started at $45 per month and only a few months later it’s now $68 per month. Wack. They also charged me for two units and didn’t refund the “security” payment. Again, wack. I will be finding a new unit. ... Read more

Prestige storage management called and explained the situation and gave us a full refund and apologized. Appreciate that management is attentive to the situation and trying to train their staff. Appreciate the managements for taking their time. RV burnt down near our boat no communication from the storage unit about the situation. Our boat was broken into and the staff did not care. We asked for a negotiation on a late fee because our card was hacked and had to be replaced and the staff was argumentative. Storage company is clueless about what is actually in there lot. They thought my boat was still in there lot despite moving it out 2 months ago and giving them the details about the boat. ... Read more

Website is very unfriendly, but the folks in the office were extremely helpful. I wish the office address were on the website. Service would be much better. Also, signage would help to find the office and storage sites; this is poor. Again, the employees saved the day once I found them. Web site needs to be at the level that these employees are at, then this would be an awesome business. ... Read more

I would advise anyone to try to find another storage facility. On January 5th I met with the property manager as my door was held together by rivets. Upon opening it one time some of those rivets came loose and the panel hanging by those rivets disconnected. I called the storage unit and told them about my issue. The property manager met me out at my unit. He acknowledged that my door was the only one like this in the entire complex and he would get a new one installed right away. 4 months later and 10 to 15 follow up calls along the way my stuff remains in the unit and I still have my broken door. When you call everything seems great. The ladies are great talk nice to you and tell you it will be taken care of. Don't listen they seem to be part of the issue just as much. No call back no communication. All I needed was a call saying ETA on your door is this, we will credit you for your time while you can't access your unit (upon complaining one of my months was credited while I could not access my unit) or maybe we have an available unit two spots down if you like you can move into that one. Nope nothing like that. Only thing offered was I could move out and the property manager could meet me there but since my door does not go up and down at all I would need to empty the entire unit in ine trip to keep it secure. Very very unprofessional. They blame their corporate higher ups for not being able to get this done stating one week they were out of country on a trip so they could not get the ok for the door. This was mid February. March 30th still no call back. I have stored my stuff in 2 different locations owned by this company. My first unit wasn't originally owned by them and as soon as prestige purchased it. It was nothing but down hill. There is another storage unit facility next to this one that is still owned locally. I advise going to this one or another close by do not use prestige storage. ... Read more

This was my first time renting a storage unit & there were no issues. When I called for a small unit I was able to get set up right away and starting moving things into it that day. The app was convenient to upload photos and manage details of the account. The unit was very clean as was the entire property. The code and gate always worked and I liked the security of it being fenced in. I'll use The Storage Group again if I need another unit. I highly recommend them. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Prestige Storage - 3495 Farr Road include the following amenities: 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 600 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Prestige Storage - 3495 Farr Road start from $50 and can go up to $171 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
