Read some helpful reviews of KO Storage at 872 Main Street, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Beautiful place. The initial sign up was a great deal. BUT! Just as a few of my buddies had warned… Once we were in for a few months, they upped the rent. The monthly price went up 4 times inside of 6 months. The good ole bait and switch. Unfortunately for us, we were finally unable to afford it, and lost everything. So for anyone looking to rent a unit here, do not be fooled by low upfront price! I assure you, very soon that will go up and up til you can’t afford it anymore. Do yourself a favor and read the 10 other people’s reviews that experienced the same jacked up pricing issue! Terrible way to take advantage of people. Lesson learned. Maybe KO will stop doing this to their customers, it’s terrible for business and all it’s going to do is make people mad. Don’t you want happy customers? Clearly not. ... Read more

It was a fair price till it went up from 235 to 291 called and said they sent me an email but no the only email that was received was that they took my money. There was no email saying prices go up. So far prices has gone up every month. I was priced at 219 but it just kept goin up. I'm sorry I dont think that was right. I give 2 stars because in the beginning it was a fair price. That's how yall gonna keep losing customers. People don't like to be ripped off ... Read more

We rented 2 units from KO while we rebuilt our home. Just after we signed our lease the front gate stopped working and stayed open 24/7 for several weeks. During that time one of our units was broken in to. It took 2 weeks for someone from KO to call us back. They did absolutely nothing to help us with the situation. During the year that we used KO the price of the units almost doubled from $125 for a 10x20 to $250. If low security, unresponsive staff and high prices are what you are looking for, you found your place! You have so many better options in western Maine. ... Read more

Prices go up just about every month. Which makes zero sense cause everything just sits all winter… what’re you charging us more for? The only thing they do is plow here and they do a crappy job at it. Luckily we found a better and nicer storage unit that’s not corporate owned. Would not recommend this place to anyone?? ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at KO Storage - 872 Main Street include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by KO Storage - 872 Main Street start from $62 and can go up to $157 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
