Read some helpful reviews of Western Avenue Self Storage at 663 Western Avenue, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I rented a unit for over 6 months & all of ny stuff was perfectly dry & even surprisingly very little DUST! These are great units & they have a bunch of different sizes to rent with great prices. The entrance has an electronic gate you get your own specialized code. Bring your own locks. They do maintain the lot nice even in the winter! I dont recall going there once last winter & having it not be plowed. ... Read more

I rented a storage unit from them for 3 years, it is a great price for the unit I had, unlike other places my price stayed consistent for the years I rented there which was a huge plus for me. The customer service is beyond top notch I can't say enough about Randy always answering the bell when needed at all times. Would highly highly recommend if you need a storage unit in the area. If I ever move back that way I will defiantly be using them again. ... Read more

The prices are the lowest I could find, the staff is very friendly and courteous, and they were very accommodating. It was also really easy to set up recurring payments and cancel when I moved my stuff out. I will definitely rent from them again if I ever need another storage unit in the future! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Western Avenue Self Storage - 663 Western Avenue include the following amenities: 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
