I was looking into a storage unit for my sick mother and contacted the Public Storage location in Forestville yesterday. Unfortunately, the experience was so negative that I felt compelled to share it. If I could give negative stars, I would. My phone interaction with DOMINIQUE, who appears to be running the property, was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. She was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional from the start and just nasty. I was spoken over repeatedly, my questions were not addressed, and I was made to feel as though I was inconveniencing her simply by calling to inquire about services. Despite remaining polite and patient throughout the call, her attitude never improved. It was very clear that customer service is not a priority here, which is incredibly disappointing—especially given the sensitive nature of my situation and the fact that I was simply trying to gather information before committing to a unit. I’m honestly grateful this behavior showed itself over the phone, as it made my decision easy. I would never give my business to a company where potential customers are treated this way!
