The manager Stephanie is very pleasant, available, responsive, and respectful always. Any issues I've ever encountered she have seen to it that the problem was resolved and that I was happy in the end. That means a lot to me that she cares enough about her customer needs. ... Read more

I have had a unit here for several years and it has been a very positive experience. Stephanie is super sweet and always very helpful. I had a question that she escalated to the District Manager (Nick) and he was great to deal with as well. The facility has always been clean and accessible and secure. Although there have been few increases to the rates over the years it is still more reasonable than most other storage places in the area. I would definitely recommend this location! ... Read more

Yes. They are famous for raising the rent by 100 dollars. First time renting a storage unit. My friend who rents from public storage in Catonsville same space size pays 137 for her 10x10. I was paying 330.00 She said there are privately owned .The never offered to lower the price at this location, I spoke to another representative at a different location ,she immediately was surprised that it was never mentioned, she had no problem accommodating me. Customer service needs to improve . PLUS there gate is always up or broken, if account falls into lean stats. They do go thru your Boxes. Clothes. One one pic from this facility shows how they threw a customer clothes that were placed neatly laid out ion boxes in storage bags around. And how the open the clothing bags all neat on hangers at the bottom. Open why clearly the wanted to see what they could take. She also.posted pics of her nice hand bags taken.out of storage bags thrown on the fllor .she said when she screamed the manager who is there now kept walking so she knew. She went got food .I no longer see that review posted.she did pay the bill and did have insurance .you can check face book reviews ... Read more

I have had nothing but good experiences since renting a storage until here. Stephanie has gone over and beyond to assist me and she is the reason this place runs so smoothly. The first day I arrived to get my unit and didn’t realize they had closed, Stephanie stayed after her shift had ended to assist me with getting settled in. I love this place and the staff! ... This company, like many others, doesn't seem to care about its customer service anymore. I just wanna be able to talk to someone when I call. And since I'm unable to do that I will not be able to give a good review. It's truly a shame that companies can't spare a little extra expense to pay someone to have interactions with customers. They would rather spend more money on an automated system now and pay an actual person less later... As far as this location goes... The people I've talked to have been great when I've been in there.... That's if there is someone there at all...... Again. No one is there to help. Only some automation service. Good luck Public Storage. Sincerely, Probly not your customer anymore. ???? ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 11333 Owings Mills Blvd include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 11333 Owings Mills Blvd start from $14 and can go up to $253 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
