The person that helped me on Saturday was very courteous and helpful. He showed me several different units and helped me pick the right one for me. I’m also delighted to find that I get the second month rent free. I highly recommend Newmarket Mini Storage. ... Read more

UPDATE: I originally rated this business 2 stars but I'm upgrading that to 3 stars now that they appear to be willing to address my issue (haven't yet received the refund but I'm assuming it will come). I'm not sure why that took a negative review but better late than never. And they did follow up very quickly after the review was posted and I followed up with the support group. I'll now consider using them in the future if I need a unit. Original review is below... The storage unit itself was in good shape. However, our unit developed a leak. Luckily it didn't hit any of the items we had stored and we were moving to another, smaller unit so no harm. The real problem came when we moved out. When we switched units we were told that our renewal date was changed as well giving us another month to move out of that unit. But when we actually checked out we were told that no, the original date was the checkout date and since we were now partially into the next month we had to pay for it because they don't prorate monhts. So they lied and it cost us an extra $100. Bottom line - we won't use these guys again. ... Read more

Corey and Glen were outstanding !!! Give them a raise, need to keep good people like these two gents. Only complaint, my new 10x10 is not, it is 9.1x 9.1…. That is not cool, even though the “law allows” I expect better from your company. My last unit was a true 10x10 , the new one is not. I am making it work, ( I told the guys about it, beyond their control, again they were great ) Main corp. needs to rethink this business strategy!!! ... Read more

Corey is always pleasant and helpful on the phone and in person! Glen was very helpful this particular interaction! I went to him on a recent visit to our storage and he was very instrumental in helping to make this trip up from FL much more successful and less stressful than anticipated which helped us save time and money. We had a lot of stuff stored for 3 years and we found no damage to any of our items including furniture! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at New Market Mini-Storage - 10630 Old National Pike include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 630 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
