I have received nothing less than superb service from self storage on Robinwood drive. Experienced financial hardship and the staff at Robinwood were patient, understanding and provided excellent customer service during a extremely stressful time, They worked with me after explaining my situation which allowed me time to get the account on track, I am currently still recovering but in a better position than a few months ago. I appreciate the help, and support regarding this account. They have also added new storages and space making it more accessible and convenient Thank you Mr Lewis ... Read more

This was our first time to our unit, we went to the wrong area and the lady at the counter was extremely helpful. Directing us to the correct area. When searching for our unit we ran into Brenda, who was a blessing. She showed us where our unit was and explained everything to us. These two ladies make a very satisfying experience. ... Read more

I came with no internet access and no way to DL an app. I was ready to turn around and walk out the door when the nice lady behind the counter said come on we’ll get your spot. She hooked me up. Tell me a walk and when I come back two days later and had to cut the lock off cause I lost the keys. I left it on man cause no one was in the office the next day they called me and told me my place is unsecured. They sold me a lock over the phone. He secured it for me And I had to make a special trip down here. God bless. What a wonderful experience it’s a rarity today to have good customer service and I’ve experienced nothing but since I rented this unit, thank you I appreciate you. Good work. ... Read more

I have been renting a storage unit at Self Storage Plus for less than a year(only 9 months in), and I was both surprised and angry to pay my rent this month, finding it was significantly increased from $109 to $142 (30%) which is outrageous) When I signed my lease, I did so with the understanding that the agreed-upon rate would remain stable for at least the first year and maybe a 5 to 10% increase at most after the first year. This sudden change, coming so soon after I moved in, feels unreasonable and leaves me questioning the fairness of the company’s pricing practices. It seems because they chose to add more units, they expect their existing customers to pay for. While I understand that businesses face rising costs, customers also rely on predictable expenses, especially when they have committed to a contract in good faith. An early rent increase not only disrupts budgeting but also undermines the trust that tenants place in the company when choosing to store their belongings here. I am a cancer survivor and single parent to a special needs boy, money is extremely tight and hard to come by so this is especially straining and concerning to me. I already carry a lot and didn't need this additional burden. To be clear, my experience with the facility itself has been positive. The property is clean, secure, and well-maintained, and the staff, Brenda is invaluable I might add, always courteous and professional. However, these positives are overshadowed by the frustration of an unexpected rate hike so soon into my lease term. I hope Self Storage Plus will reconsider this decision and adopt a more customer-friendly approach by honoring the original rate for at least the first year of tenancy. They should want to create a good name and value their existing clients. Doing so would demonstrate a commitment to fairness, transparency, and long-term customer satisfaction. I want to add that they appear to have shady business practices due to going on the website for the exact location and unit to rent still rents for less if you sign a new lease (from $125-$130) and they are giving 50% off rent for 3 months to hook you in. I am disgusted by their ethics and will be taking matters further. I will be looking to move my belongings from this company who does not value their clients. ... Read more

I guess the first review I left got deleted. I had rented a unit from them and everything was fine at first. Until I moved my stuff out. The family was helping me move and they were coming up from the S.C. they were always changing there mind on when they would be up to come help me move my stuff out. Didn't know I was supposed to give 3 days notice either until after I moved my stuff out of the unit. I finally moved my stuff out. Asked if they did a pro rate. They said no. I left a review for them which is no longer up. The company commented on my review and asked me to email them. I emailed them over a month about the issue. Still no response from them. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Self Storage Plus - 11133 Robinwood Drive include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location, Parking, Keyless Unit Access, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Self Storage Plus - 11133 Robinwood Drive start from $19 and can go up to $249 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
