From renting a storage unit, to getting help right from the office, and loading my belongings into the unit. They made my experience awesome!!! It's stressful enough moving, but they made it so easy. I appreciate all that the office lady did for me, thank you so much!!! ... Read more

I had an amazing experience with Selena and Paula at Extra Space Storage! From the moment I arrived, they were extremely helpful and made the entire process so smooth. I recently moved from another Extra Space Storage location, and they went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed and knew exactly where I was going. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail really stood out. It’s rare to come across people who genuinely care about your experience, and both Selena and Paula exceeded my expectations. Thank you both for making my move so much easier! ... Read more

I just want to leave an honest review of my experience to help others make their most informed decision. I started storing here a few years back when it was Store-U-Self. It was alright, I never had many complaints. But once extra space bought it, the rent hiked so high and a slew of other issues arose. A brief summary: - Rat and mouse shit over all my items, floor, etc and seen in other units. - Elevator was broken for 3 months. We couldn't move ourselves out, and they refused to provide a discount on rates, assist with movers, or anything. They just told us to wait and we literally couldn't remove our items for 3 months to even move somewhere else - They doubled the rent out of no where. after 3 months of not being able to access our items, they doubled our rent, with minimal warning at all for next month. - Getting a straight answer out of anyone was insanely difficult, the corporate ownership of the place makes it near impossible to get any answers from management. - You have to enter a code to literally drive out of the facility, and it's not easy to reach - My father and boyfriend got locked inside the parking lot of facility at 10:01pm due to the restriction on leaving the facility with the gate code. If you ever need to access your unit near closing, give yourself ample time to leave! We ended up moving to a different storage facility, 2/3 the original price we were paying for the same size unit. I'd advise anyone against renting here, with the continuous and insane rate hikes, accompanied with literal rat/mouse poop and no urgency to fix a huge component of a storage unit (accessing items via elevator). I have nothing against management, or the employees, however I wanted to leave an honest review on the facility itself accompanied with the corporate ownership for the purposes of everyone else making their smartest decision. ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at SecureSpace Self Storage - 99 Rivermoor Street include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by SecureSpace Self Storage - 99 Rivermoor Street start from $79 and can go up to $777 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
