Renee and Mike have been great to work with, very knowledgeable and helpful. Extra space business of getting clients in and then raising their storage prices is alittle miss leading and clients that are long term renters should be treated with a little more empathy and respect, but overall staff and space are excellent. ... Mike Lipper was very helpful in Easton. He showed me a couple unit sizes but did not have any climate control units available. Gave me 2 other location options. Chose the Raynham location and worked with Dawn Craig who got me situated. Great customer service from both representatives. ... Read more

I had a very pleasant, easy experience at the location in Easton on Rt 138. This was the first time in my life I needed a storage unit. The manager Michael did an excellent job of explaining all the ins & outs of renting different types of units. I ended up renting a unit that is indoors at a location down the street in Raynham after weighing out the pros & cons. Michael went over important parts of the lease so I was fully informed of what I was signing. I highly recommend going in to the location if you need an education in renting a storage unit. Thank you Michael! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Extra Space Storage - 594 Turnpike Street include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 350 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Extra Space Storage - 594 Turnpike Street start from $57 and can go up to $424 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
