Read some helpful reviews of Concord Street Self Storage at 92 Concord Street, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

texted an hour and a half before pickup that they couldn't fulfill our reservation, on moving day. tried calling text number & business number, no answer. shoddy business practices, avoid. edit: you actually didn't just move my reservation. you changed it to the wrong kind of reservation, which we had to then figure out with corporate and get fixed. Please focus on doing your job properly and stop blaming the customer for your problems. ... Read more

I reserved a U-haul van for today and when I got there the building was completely closed up with no one around. There were no signs stating be back later or anything like that. Verified the store hours online with the ones on the door and they should have been open. Called the store number but got a message to text them. Texted the phone number but no response. Granted, I understand that I was late for my reservation but no call from the store beforehand to make sure I was still planning on coming for my van would and could have made this a better experience. I had to drive 45 minutes out of my way to get the van that I needed for today. Thankfully, U-haul themselves were able to adjust my reservation and they made it work. ... Read more

TLDR: inspect and verify everything yourself or you may be overcharged and treated rudely. For uhaul rentals be careful, the employee working here makes mistakes and overcharges, but will not admit any errors and refuses to correct anything. I should have been tipped off by the fact that she was listening to voicemails (out loud) when I walked in and half were customers complaining of being overcharged, but I didn't realize she might be the problem at the time. She was friendly initially and handed me the keys and said I was good to go and that I could leave the keys in the dropbox when I returned it that night (as opposed to using the app) because she'd be renting out to someone else in the morning and would personally check the truck in. Luckily I had the impression I should snap a photo of the odometer as I was driving away. I returned 5 minutes before closing time but she was gone already so I tried to use the app to complete the return, but it was buggy and didn't work. I thought it was no big deal, so I dropped the keys in the box as instructed. Next day, my bill was nearly triple what I anticipated because they charged me a fee for putting the key in the drop box (no mention of that fee up front) and 42 extra miles of driving, about triple my actual miles. I called and the same employee read me the odometer reading she entered as my starting number and it was off by a digit (ending in 004 instead of 040). Despite my photographic proof, she would not admit she could have made an error and refused to reverse any incorrect charges, and was very rude about it. Unfortunate experience, underscores the need to personally check and document everything and not just trust the employee. I was disappointed by the poor service and communication. Fortunately Uhaul's corporate customer service was responsive, reviewed my photo, and reversed the charges. ... Read more

Beware the details. Overall, the experience was fine. It's not too far off of 93, easy to find, and the people were friendly. We were late bringing the van back because of unexpected moving delays and called the Go-UHaul phone number to extend our time. They told us it was no problem and to use the website to return the van because the office would be closed. So, we followed the website's instructions, but there was nothing about where to leave the key. We ended up locking the key in the van because we didn't know what else to do with it. Apparently, there's a drop box that we knew nothing about. And apparently, this U-Haul office didn't have a spare key for their van. So, they told us we had to pay to have a locksmith go unlock the van. But, shouldn't a U-Haul dealer have spare keys to the vehicles they rent? This seems pretty basic. If they lost the spare key, then they should have paid for the locksmith, right? For our next move in the area, we will find another U-Haul dealer. I don't trust this dealer and wouldn't recommend them to anyone else. ... Read more

Do not expect this store to be open for hours posted on Uhaul website, google maps, or recorded message. I set up a reservation online and completed all the paperwork and the payment. All they had to do was literally hand me the keys so I could leave. My reservation time was for 11:30, but I wasn't able to make it until 11:55. They close at 12, so I understand this is cutting it close, but I am a strong believer that your hours should actually mean what you say. Anyway, the store was completely closed up and no answer on the phone number posted at the front door. Called uhaul again and they confirmed the correct hours and said that there wasn't another truck I could rent anywhere within an hour drive. I had three other people who set this day aside to help me out. I felt incredibly annoyed that this location has totally put out all 4 of us. I will not be renting from this place again. ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Concord Street Self Storage - 92 Concord Street include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 20 to 258 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Concord Street Self Storage - 92 Concord Street start from $50 and can go up to $387 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
