Read some helpful reviews of Fountainbleau Storage at 4040 Tulane Avenue, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

We've rehearsed at this place for years, and the rent keeps going up while the services completely disappear. Now you can't even access your room. Musicians avoid this place. It's nothing like it used to be. ... Read more

This storage is the worst, The hours posted online are not the hours of the storage access! There's a flyer on the door stating very limited access and closed on Sundays! Just this week I found out that the Fire Marshal have given them a few days to get the storage facility up to code and the climate control Storage that's advertised have not had air conditioning in months!!!! Also, every person who rent a storage has to be escorted to their storage by an employee and only have 10 minutes to get whatever they need and leave!!! There is a big breech of contract between customers and this storage facilities. Damage control is a Must Or I will seek counsel for a class action lawsuit! The Manager and staff at the front office are Wonderful but this facility is Poorly Managed by Upper Management and the Pitiful Owners who don’t live in La!!! Shame On You, Do Better!!! ... Read more

Overall the easiest rental experience I've ever had. The staff is very down to earth and they were very helpful with any questions I had. The intro promo pricing for the first 2 months was excellent. I even received a free lock for my unit as a part of a '"move in perk" that was on promotion at the time i rented the unit. Very affordable pricing and easy going folks to work with! I won't rent a storage unit anywhere else ... Read more

I’ve used several other storage units across the city and all charge so much more for their units than y’all do. I’m paying less money for two units than my friend is for one unit at a different company. This place has been my favorite place to have storage units by far and i’ve recommended it to my friends and family! The process of signing up is so easy and there’s no contract you are tied to. Definitely the best to rent from. ... Read more

After speaking with the management I feel as though nothing was addressed other than they clearly know about the homeless situation, even though in Mr Paolucci review 8 months ago They said they didn’t know about it however I wouldn’t store my stuff here due to the fact of take it from me a customer I start my stuff there. There were two break-ins. They refused to call the police however they did call the police on me and I asked the district manager about that she simply stated because we had a potential customer in the office clearly they don’t want The fact that if you rent here there’s a 90% chance you’re gonna get robbed there’s 100% chance they’re not gonna do anything The halls have puddles of urine there’s bags of feces. It’s completely and utterly disgusting. ... Read more

There was a break in at my unit last month. I informed the manager she told me that I have to call the police. It’s not her job again today I go there. It was broken into yet again. I tell the manager she tells me I have to call the police not her. My phone was dead. I simply asked. May I plug it in automatically she said no she said it’s not their policy to do that enhance me a brochure for the insurance company that states the manager has to call the police. I told her I said it says so right here. She’s like I can call the police on you cause you’re bothering me also she’s charging me for a lot cutting service when I have the lock they never cut it, but she can’t take that off the bill since she can’t help me, I guess I’m either calling the Better Business Bureau because I have money to pay my bill today. She won’t allow me to do it. If anything, it’s almost like she’s involved in the break into my unit because she can’t do anything that’s how I feel. I guess Lee Zürich would be the next person I call ... Read more

The place is a hobo hotel. Tons of people living in there, stealing peoples stuff. It’s a dump, smells like urine, people defecate in the halls, trash everywhere. It’s absolutely disgusting. It’s not secure at all. Yourstuff will get stolen. It’s been a few weeks since I posted this review review. Note the response from them below, and understand that I have spoken with management at the facility as well as a district supervisor For the management company that runs this place. At no point did anyone offer to review security camera footage, offer me any help other than directing me to file a police report and give me the number for the insurance company. There was never any offer to help secure my space, nothing but a perfunctory phone call to express the regret and tell me how “this doesn’t happen, or they do not condone this type of activity” at their facility. However, I went there today to further remove myself on my belongings and found my neighbors unit to be completely unsecure. No lock, door wide open, with graffiti inside and smelling of urine. Because this facility is an old hotel, there is an inner door between my unit and my neighbors unit. A simple hollow core would residential door that is easily kicked in. This is the level of security that they provide. A cheap plywood door from the 1980s with a simple, cheap bar lock. There is no less deterrent then the lack of lock they have on the main door. The police officer that took my report, laughed when I described the situation there. If you’re looking for a place to store your valuables in a safe and secure location, that is climate controlled, this is most definitely not that place. If you were looking for a place to “live” where you can have free roam of the building, the ability to see into Other peoples units, and have a desire for drug use and thievery This is most definitely the place for you. ... Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 15 to 640 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Fountainbleau Storage - 4040 Tulane Avenue start from $16 and can go up to $499 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
