Diane was great. It was done in no time and she came from Mandeville to show me the units in Madisonville. I really appreciated that. It was all done by e-sign on the phone so that was easy. Units look clean and everything looks well taken care of ... Read more

My mother died and I called to let them know about her death a week after her passing they told me I need her death certificate to get her stuff i told them it would take a while and when I did get the certificate I called them and they told me her unit was auction off when they told me they would put the unit on hold ... I already had a poor taste in my mouth about this facility between being unbelievably hot inside despite the “climate control” sign on the front and the fact that none of the automatic doors work but instead have to be pushed open (meaning they don’t lock either) and no one ever being on site or available. But today was the icing on the cake. I informed them on 7/29 that we would be vacating by early August and asked if this could be put on our file. I then called back on 8/4 to let them know that it would still be early August but a likely by 8/8. They told me that’s completely fine and that they will make a note. So today we go to grab our last load of items with a trailer that we had to borrow and our gate code is denied. This is shocking as we went to autopay back in June. After contacting the corporate office (because the number on the door only goes to a billing center or a management line that is never answered) and we’re told that they have no idea why payment wasn’t received as their is the two months of autopay history and no indication it was shut off. They also let me know that a ticket can be put in but cannot provide me a temp code and their is likely already a second lock on the door that can’t be removed until tomorrow at the earliest. On top of that the woman that spoke to my fiancé was rude and hung up on him after suggesting we likely didn’t have the money in our account to cover it (and I assure you we did). I will at the mandeville office in the morning and I except this to be handled at that time. This has already been significantly more of an inconvenience than necessary. ... Read more

The gates are broken. I almost damaged my truck trying to squeeze through the damaged one. My code for the gates does not work. It is denied every time I tried it. Not impressed. The actual unit is fine. Every other thing needs massive improvement. ... Read more

I've had a great experience. Every person I have talked to has been very nice and suoer helpful. My only concern is one of the gates. Every time I driven by one of the gates has remained open since the first-time I've been there. ... Read more

I have rented from Red Dot before so now when I needed a unit again all I had to do was log on and set it up. It was very easy. I use the facility in Madisonville, LA. It is always clean and I when I rented before I would occasionally see the person charged with making sure things are doing what they are supposed to. He was very nice and helpful. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Storage Rentals of America - 155 Hwy 21 include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location, Credit Cards Accepted, Enclosed, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Storage Rentals of America - 155 Hwy 21 start from $61 and can go up to $330 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
