Dylan and her staff are great but the company is horrible with the price increases and what feels like price gouging. Don’t setup auto pay, at least then you’ll know when they’re trying to increase your bill as much as 50%!! Office staff can try to help adjust it down but never keep your old rate! I’m exploring other options. ... Read more

The sign up was easy to do, the facility was very clean and secure. The employees are very polite and professional. The gentleman I spoke with to cancel our storage ( did not need anymore) was very helpful in the cancellation process. We will definitely use them again, if needed in the future ... Read more

I just want to start by saying Devin,” the manager” of the Denham Springs property is Absolutely wonderful!!! The property is clean, the staff’s friendly and quick to help with any and all needs! “ HOWEVER “ I’ve had a unit here for over a year and although they seem competitive by a few bucks to get moved in… They go up on the rates of your unit every 3 months are so! The office manager tries to help but can only help by lowering it a few bucks each time so you never have a consistent bill with them. As a single mom I’m currently having to “not only look for a new unit”, but someone to travel out of their way to come help me move my things because it’s now out of my monthly budget! Nothing but a big hassle, go with a company that has consistent rates! ... Read more

Been renting a unit since late September 2024. Suddenly in January my price goes from $68 to $125. I called the place and spoke with an employee who looked at my account and sounded dumbfounded that my rental price when from 57 to 114(plus insurance), effectively doubling my rental price. The employee could not explain why and acted just as surprised as I was. She attempted to lower my price and was only able to lower it by $18. I admittedly didn’t read the fine print and probably got screwed by it, but you would think the employee would be able to explain that but I guess not. It’s too much of a hassle to move storage places or units for a few more months so I guess I’ll deal with it. I understand rate increases. But it would be a great idea to notify your customer of it and have your employees informed instead of everyone being confused. The sad part is I’m paying more than what your website claims that the “store rate” of the unit is, let alone the “web rate” being so much lower. ... Read more

Extra Space Storage Highly Recommend! I recently needed to rent a storage unit and was pleasantly surprised by my experience with Extra Space Storage. Pricing was very competitive. I shopped around and found their rates to be among the most affordable in the area. The staff were incredibly helpful. From the initial phone call to the move-in process, everyone I interacted with was friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to answer my questions and make sure I felt comfortable. The facility was clean and well-maintained. The unit itself was clean and dry, and the overall property was well-lit and secure. I would highly recommend Extra Space Storage to anyone in need of storage solutions. ... Read more

MAKE SURE YOU READ THE FINE PRINT They don't tell you when you sign up that your fee will almost double in 6 months. It is in the fine print at the bottom of the contract that you sign online. I believe this falls under deceptive trade practice. Mine went from $94 to $165. Don't get sucked in over their cheap prices. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 2257 South Range Avenue include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 250 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 2257 South Range Avenue start from $15 and can go up to $164 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
