We've had our spot at Park N Place since late 2010. The family & crew on the property do a great job. The convenient dump station, wash bay & water/air station are appreciated. Security is great! For the price, we believe Park N Place Boat and RV Storage is the best RV/boat storage facility within our ArkLaTex region. ... Read more

Highly do NOT recommend this place. While the day-to-day manager is friendly, the owner (I think it's the manager's father) is, let's say, TOO friendly. Several times, he would come up to me while I was at my camper alone, and proposition me. Absolutely creepy. I finally had to bring my husband with me so that this guy could see I was married and not interested. Aside from that, the place is also a dump. I was paying for covered parking, yet the rusty roof would leak all over my camper when it rained. It looked like chocolate milk had been poured down the sides of my RV. Everything is old, dirty and rusty. The wash bay that they advertised didn't always work. ... Read more

Website says close at 5pm so I hooked up my 2016 supreme s238 I just purchased and headed to the facility. While in route I called to let the person know we on our way and when I told her that she said she was leaving and wouldn’t wait. I was literally 5 mins from the facility! Will not go back! ... My husband and I are in the process of buying a travel trailer. We drove to the gates of Park 'N Place on Friday, April 16, 2016 at about 2:30 in the afternoon hoping to inquire about features and prices. We tried to call and used the intercom system but neither were answered. Finally a car was leaving and the occupants pointed us to the office. As we drove up a woman with dark hair and an odd ear piercing stormed out and told us they were closed. My husband asked why since it was not a holiday and only mid afternoon. She became angry and repeated that they were closed. By this time we were eager to leave and asked her, politely, if she would open the gate for us and she replied with angry sarcasm "I guess I will have to now" and stormed back into the office to push a button. The whole encounter was bizarre. I don't even want to drive by the place again. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Park -N Place · RV-Boat Storage - 455 Hamilton Road include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Enclosed and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
