Read some helpful reviews of Simmons Moving-Storage at 16101 Highway 21 South, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

The girl they got working the front desk is rude as hell. So, very unprofessional. She said , " you needed me," I replied no thank you and she threw her hand up as if to , with a complete attitude, as if I wasted her time and turned around talking to herself bc she walked outside. Very rude amd unprofessional. She was wearing short tights as if she was on a gym and a tee-shirt. Never would I think that it would bother an employee of Simmons moving and storage to ask someone for assistance. You can tell this isn't her business and she cares nothing for the consumer who makes this business thrive. Ridiculous because she wanted to get off early. I wish my job consisted of me being able to get off when I'm ready to leave. How do I contact the owner. I'm just appauld by this girls actions and how she speaks to customers. Not only to me but to my husband as if he's bothering her by returning the u-haul he rented and then more bothered because he went to put gas in the tank. She threatened to put him in jail after they spoke and she knew his job didn't allow him to leave when he was ready , he had to follow to do his entire job. All because as she stated, " I'm ready to go" at 3:00 . I want the owners info so I can speak person who runs this business. Didn't get the depoback, charged 73 miles when paid for 50 to begin with and took one load from varnado to bogalusa which is 12 miles one way ... Read more

This is the BEST storage in this area. They provide great units at great prices and have GREAT customer service. My experience here has been nothing but positive. My unit is climate controlled and its easy access. Its also secure and sits on a hill so there are no worries about flooding when the rain gets heavy. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Simmons Moving-Storage - 16101 Highway 21 South include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Gate and Parking. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
