Read some helpful reviews of A Another Room Self Storage at 100 West Knox Blvd, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

We have been renting for a few yrs now. The price went up about a yr or so ago. Inflation based I'm guessing. I think it is pretty expensive for just basically having a garage. When I asked about why the price increase i was told because of upkeep and staff, electricity etc. I said what upkeep what electricity etc and was told it takes a lot to run the storage unit. There is no lights in each individual garage or unit and one staff member. So I'm not 100% sure why it is over 200.00 to rent. But they are clean and the staff member seems to be a good lady. Never have had an issue with this except the price. ... Read more

Clean, seems safe but the gate freezes in winter and either won't close or open. Also the gate closes slow so pull up and wait for it to close and block others from.enteri g or cars can get in without a code. ... Read more

We, HCEA, have always had very good service from Another Room Self Storage. We’ve used them for years. However, today I received a call about payment. We pay up for a year! I informed them I moved and was no longer President of HCEA. To call the local KEA office. The person on the phone was SO RUDE! Yelled and screamed that it was not their responsibility to call. She HUNG UP, while I was trying to give her the number and also let her know I would call the office. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE!!! No professionalism at all! Has to be someone new we’ve never dealt with!!! ... Read more

When I opened my storage I asked about the special I found on their website. They said they weren't associated with the company running that website. Please stay away from here. In response to the company's reply it was the same website listed on your Facebook page and your Google search result. It wasn't a redirect it was your company ran site. Please gaslight me again. ... My mother rented a storage unit when we had to move her out from the flood. I thought this would be a pleasant experience, it started out that way but when I went to move her out the security gate would not work. 2 other renters came by and they were locked out too. I was told this is a recurring problem with the gate. When I went by later in the day when someone was in the office I was told “it’s not their problem a man made gate doesn’t work and I should have waited till they opened to get in” (this was a Sunday and I did not have moving help later in the day ) there is not 24 hour access as advertised. There is no one to contact if the gate does not work. After speaking with the rude clerk at the desk I asked to speak to the owner regarding this. I was told “I’ll take your number but he won’t call you because none of this is our fault” I have not heard from the owner or anyone there. When and how I can get my mother’s items out remains to be seen since she is suppose to be out by the 23rd of April. I am out the price of a uhaul, have to get another crew together to move her out. The place is clean, if you don’t mind having your items held hostage and being blamed for their gate not working. ... Read more

Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by A Another Room Self Storage - 100 West Knox Blvd start from $63 and can go up to $235 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
