Read some helpful reviews of KO Storage at 8204 National Turnpike, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I am very happy with the security that the storage on National Turnpike has. I have had some confusion with my account information. But today dooke with Shae, and she was very detailed and has gotten everything straightened out for me. I had this in my sister's name because I was waiting on a new bank debit card. Luckily Shae finally got this switched into my name Jeunese Rigsby, and took my sister's information out of my account so there is no more problems with the billing situation. Thank you Shae for updating and taking the time to do this correctly. You are most definitely a value employee to the company. Thank you , Jeunese Rigsby. Unit C-13 ... Read more

Raised the rent from $124 to $169 in one hike…that!s not good business. I called to discuss the outrageous hike and was told someone would call me back…I never received a call…then was charged a late fee…bad business. I called again and once again was told someone would call me back…I never received a call…bad business. I called 3 more times and left messages about my moving out…I never received a call…bad business. Finally spoke to Andress…good guy. ... Read more

I’ve had a heck of a time gettin everything taken care of and paying for these two units BUT…Victoria took really good care of me and had the patience, it seems to take for ANYONE to satisfy me and overlook my “issues” that usually get me in trouble. Sorry if I threw you a curve or two, Victoria!“Know it All Syndrome” runs in my family and I think I got a double dose of it along with my Master’s in sarcasm, which doesn’t exactly help me in a lot of situations but in this case I’m glad she helped me through the process and got it all squared away. Thanx so much! Merry Christmas! ... Read more

My experience is as follows. I called two days to late and they sold my stuff. I understand I get it. But my problem is as who ever bought my stuff was supposed to leave my personal belongings at the office . Pictures important papers ashes of my loved ones. But for there isn't a place for them to take it to said one lady from KO I talked to. 2nd. The person. Signed an agreement with storage treasures stating that the will return my personal belongings but again to where do they take it. 3rd the owner of company gave all of my information to a person who's name wasn't on the storage . I never gave anyone permission to do that. I made a horrible mistake putting my.stuff in there. I'm not saying it wasn't my fault that my shit got sold . I'm saying that KO storage storage Trsasures and person who bought my stuff didn't follow their own rules. And the staff was rude and uncaring. You would that KO storage would supply.a place for the people that buys the units to take personal belongings to. If storage treasures the bidder and KO storage aren't all on the same page then all three of them are tone blammed. Nobody is innocent in this . And I have seeked help in this matter to see what my options are. I talked to storage treasures and KO thr day I found out about my storage until. They slammed each other. The people that work at KO didn't care . They told that there isn't a place for anyone to take my.belongings to and hung up on me . I was distraught as anyone would be . And not one person acted like they cared . I also never received a certified letter about my storage . And my.information was given out without my permission . So you are also to blame ... Read more

KO storage had my car towed away without letting me know. Never had an abandoned sticker or anything saying this vehicle will be removed . I was at my storage a week before it was removed. My car was parked ?? near my units, yes I do have two. Never checked who owned the car. No email no phone call just totally neglect on the manager and the owner. Ko storages are not local, and the person that I had a conversation with was very rude and unprofessional. I have been with Fort Locks Storage since 2012 . Ko Storage ownership stared about two years ago. My car has been parked there since 2021. I drove my car there myself with my son following me. There was a very small note that was on my driver window, the rain had washed most of whatever was on the note . All I could see was three numbers 367- . I called the office at least 3 or more times and never got a answer, I did leave a message to call me never got a phone call. When I found out my car was removed it was 22 days. Tried to work something out with Ko storage. Called tPinkey's towing they just wanted me to pay a outrageous bill that I really couldn't afford I was told by the manager that if he knew that was my car we could have worked something out? Mike and I had a good relationship when Fortlocks own the business. Ko storage I'm giving you a 0 rating because you could have checked the camera ?? I was told we don't do that. Ko Storage is losing a long time customer because of neglect and unprofessional business ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 400 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by KO Storage - 8204 National Turnpike start from $29 and can go up to $194 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
