I have nothing but great things to say about this storage facility! The team was very friendly and helpful, and gave me the security that my belongings were safe as if it was their own. The facility itself was incredibly clean and secure. They provide a helping hand when no one else does. I have had a unit here for several years. The property is clean and spacious. This picture is my last week there, and im in the process of emptying it. It's a 15 by 10 for $ 125 per month. You can come and go as late as you want. You can also stay as long as you need to. They also have lighting in the unit as well as a place to plug in something if necessary. Any issues have been resolved quickly and professionally. I would recommend this place to anyone needing a unit and I would also get a unit here again. ... Read more

I rented a unit here 11 days ago for my daughter who is homeless to have access to her things, day or night, because she doesn't have a car. I wanted her to be able to go to her things when she had a ride. I could of got a cheaper place but wouldn't of had the access. I told Ms Jeanie all this as well as she's bi- polar and she likes to have a place to chill and work on her crafts, she's was very agreeable when she rented us the unit. Said that she understood because she to had a daughter like that at one time and she's better now. She also has a granddaughter that is Bi-polar and going thru the same thing right now so I really thought we were going to get along really well. But as of today WITHOUT notice because my daughter comes and goes all hours of the day and night they STRIPPED HER OF ACCESS TO OUR UNIT BECAUSE THEY DON'T LIKE HER COMING AND GOING WHENEVER SHE has a ride and can. So she shows up to get some of her things and they wouldn't let her in until I called and let them know this is unacceptable. They let me know they didn't want her to be there anymore and I needed to get her stuff out. I intend to do just that tomorrow but I REALLY BELIEVE THAT IT'S BAD BUSSINESS to say "it's OK we understand" and then other than you don't like someone you decide to lock her out of her unit / belongings and tell them to move their things. I paid $70. +$25 to get this unit for 30 days and then as advertised was supposed to have 30 days free but now I find myself trying to figure out and find help to move. I thought that was why we pay them so much for a 5×10 do that we as consumers could be able to go to our storage anytime that's convenient for us. I could rent one for $30 to $40 cheaper but we paid for the 24/7 access. Thanks alot I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Very unfair practice. !!!!!!!BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at 24/7 Self Storage - 354 Farmington Avenue include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking and Credit Cards Accepted. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 1,125 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by 24/7 Self Storage - 354 Farmington Avenue start from $60 and can go up to $650 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
