Absolutely the best facility I've ever used...couldnt ask for better customer service with payment, password help ect... had my choice of climate control or standard storage big or small spaces. No doubt that I would recommend The Storage Bin to family or friends :) ... Read more

I was very impressed with The Storage Bin. My husband and I called and were able to get a temperature controlled unit while on site during the phone call. We didn't have to wait for someone to come to the location or sit and fill out paperwork. During the phone call they guided me and told me how to get to the unit we needed, get the key, and we were allowed to start moving stuff in right away. Later I received some paperwork electronically to fill out and sign. It was seamless and we had our unit for about 9 months. I liked that the units were behind a locked gate, and each person has their own unique code. I also liked that the doors had a built in stopper so it was easy to push the door open and stay open when moving things in and out. We were able to pull our U-haul right up to our building and unload (and later load) the truck. Each time we went to the unit (4 times total in 9 months) we didn't see other people or felt rushed to get out of anyone's way. When we moved and no longer needed the unit, I called and informed them and they stopped the automatic payment. We didn't have any issues here and would highly recommend this location if needing a storage unit. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Storage Bin, The - 181 Otter Creek Drive include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Storage Bin, The - 181 Otter Creek Drive start from $50 and can go up to $175 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
