Read some helpful reviews of Self Storage Center at 1998 Oxford Drive, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Go literally anywhere but here. The gate code never works and no one is ever here in the office even during “office hours”. On top of that the mailbox is full and no messages can be left. As if that wasn’t enough of a grievance the place is filthy, a 10x10 unit is not true to size and they have a serious mouse problem. Again go literally anywhere but self storage #3! ... Read more

Would highly recommend using them. Fast customer service. Very friendly. Easily accessible but secure. I no longer needed to use the facility and the company gave hassle-free cancellation with no cancellation fees or contracts. Thank you and would 100% recommend. ... Read more

Rented a uhaul from this storage company the older heavy set woman at the desk said that because I was 20 minutes late that my rental had been canceled. She did initiate another rental but she was very short and her curt attitude was atrocious. She acted as if I was bothering her to get the uhaul. I must have interrupted her tv show that was playing. I returned the uhaul early as I only used it for 2 hours instead of the entire day. When I returned early the woman continued her nasty attitude and was very flippant. I asked about the refund and she said she would send an email. I had not received the email as promised. I called the facility to enquire about my refund. When I explained to her my issue, she immediately cut me off and said she didn't handle payments and hung up. I tried to call back and received a busy signal. This continued for several hours. I will choose another rental facility to get uhaul in the future. I contacted.uhaul customer service and filed a complaint. I guess the tv show she was watching was more important than a uhaul customers. ... Read more

I have been a loyal, no-hassle auto pay customer for the last seven years. In the last 12 months, I had to relocate my trailer 4 times. Why? When I returned after weekend activities, another trailer was in my assigned parking spot. Nothing worse than coming back to park your trailer at 10 o’clock at night to find someone else in your spot. You see other open spots, but know they belong to someone else. (I’m not going to be “that guy“ and take their parking spot) Just two weeks ago I received a call from the storage center saying that I needed to move my trailer ASAP because I was taking up 2 parking spots. (Note: There are NO painted lines designating assigned spots anywhere on the property). Upon arrival, it was clearly evident I was not taking up 2 spots. The person who called was monitoring the lot by video camera from another location and had no idea of the actual situation on site. ... Read more

We have rented a climate-controlled 10' X 10' unit for almost 3 years. The care, accessibility, and convenience has been superb! It was very convenient since we live in the Pleasant Valley subdivision next door to the storage rental center. We have used several storage units and this has by far been the best! Highly recommended for care of sensitive equipment and heat & cold sensitive items. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Self Storage Center - 1998 Oxford Drive include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 660 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Self Storage Center - 1998 Oxford Drive start from $55 and can go up to $190 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
