INSULATION FALLING IN ALL UNITS We noticed insulation had started falling on our belongings. We put in a complaint and was called by the manager the next day, we were told “all I can do is give you some painters plastic to put on your stuff” we asked for a different unit and he said this was happening in every unit. This is absolutely disgusting and they put no effort into fixing it! There’s plenty of storage facilities in the area, I highly recommend you find a different one. ... Read more

I recently rented a unit at the Public Storage on Tanners Lane in Florence, KY, and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The self-serve kiosk made move-in a breeze—no waiting in line or paperwork hassles. Rates are very competitive, and the transparent pricing meant no surprise fees. With drive-up units it’s easy to get in and out whenever I need, and the central location off Houston Road is super convenient. Highly recommend! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 7866 Tanners Lane include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Keyless Unit Access, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 7866 Tanners Lane start from $50 and can go up to $215 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
