If i could give ZERO STARS, i would. This is THE WORST company i have ever dealt with IN MY LIFE. FIRST, i payed for my unit but was unable to use it for a month because they had no property manager to call for a gate code. Then when i finally got a gate code i used the lock they provided in th unit and it got stuck. They had no property manager so NO ONE COULD OPEN MY UNIT FOR TWO MORE MONTHS. I ended up having to pay a locksmith to cut THEIR LOCK off of THIEF UNIT that THEY PROVIDED just to be able to have access to my unit and buy my own lock. NOW i have moved out of state and moved my stuff out other than two boxes that i told them to throw out and THEY WONT TAKE IT OUT OF MY NAME AND CONTINUE TO CHARGE ME!!! I told them i would drive out to remove the boxes if thats what they needed me to do to take it out of my name and i show up to the unit and they have put a lock on it to prevent my access. If this is not a scam to FORCE me to continue paying rent monthly on a unit that i DO NOT USE i don't know what it is. DO NOT EVERRRRRR GO HERE FOR STORAGE PEOPLE!!! I AM HIRING A LAWYER AND GETTING ALL OF THIS MONEY BACK!!!!I WILL ALSO BE REPORTING THIS COMPANY TO THE BBB ... Read more

I have two storage units from here, one in Radcliff and one in E-Town. I’ve never had any issues. The new staff is great. The only people that seem to have issues are ones that don’t pay their bill or constantly having an issue twice I came in to pay my bill and I’ve seen tenant screaming at the person behind the counter for themselves being late. ... 35 Percent rent increase with no warning, I have not even had the rental six months. Customer service is worthless and there's no on-site manager. There are spiders and bugs from all the holes at the top and bottom of the units.there are also giant holes in the corner where they're running the video cables. ... Read more

Filthy! It’s secure, but their customer service is awful. They didn’t listen when I asked to book a climate controlled, I arrived after hours and had no choice but to store. Then they said it was my fault. There’s many dead rodents and bugs everywhere. Avoid if you can. ... Read more

The door to the storage unit came off of the track a month ago. They still have not fixed it. We have not been able to.get in the unit to get my purse, my medicine, any cothing, car keys. They have refused to meet us at the building only when it is convenient for them. Now they have evicted us from the building and we have until May 15th to get our stuff out and we can't get the door open to get it out. Now very pleasant people. They will not try to work with us ... Read more

Every interaction I’ve had with this company has been bad. First, I bought a lock from them at their kiosk. A few weeks later the lock wouldn’t open. Key went in but it wouldn’t turn. Late spring so weather wasn’t a factor. They wanted to charge me $25 to have someone come out and cut the lock off that I bought from them. I called a friend who did it for free, went to Home Depot and bought a decent lock. A few months later they raised my rent from $67 to $80 for a 5x10 unit. A few more months and I put in my move out notice. They of course sent me a bill for the month AFTER I moved out. Now they’re sending me threatening emails that they’ve locked my unit and added a $10 late fee. Mind you I moved out 3 weeks ago. I’m glad I took a picture of the unit when I moved out because I’m pretty sure they’re going to try to say I left it dirty or something. These people are either shady or incompetent. Maybe both. Either way I would steer clear. ... Read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Also reporting them to the BBB. Short version: renting unit, obviously, we received a notification that our lock was not in compliance with their standards. So while paying the monthly bill at the kiosk we notice there are lock being sold for $10 by RED DOT. We purchased the new lock and placed it on our unit. Then we started receiving notifications that our August bill was not paid. Of course, this is disregarded because, a payment was made and locks were changed and just assumed the kiosk system maybe didn’t update and it was an automated message. We finally reach out to Red Dot since the notifications did not stop to find out, they have locked us out of the storage unit and are threatening to put us into collections because they are CLAIMING to have sent us keys to a lock they provided us. So in short, they cut the lock, provided by them bought by us in August OFF of our unit AND locked us out for a false claim of sending us keys to a $12 lock they out on our unit. Red Dot you are trash. Your customer service is trash. It shouldn’t take speaking with three different people to still have nothing resolved. Try to avoid these scam artists if you can. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Storage Rentals of America - 4625 North Dixie Hwy include the following amenities: 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location, Kiosk Available, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 250 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Storage Rentals of America - 4625 North Dixie Hwy start from $28 and can go up to $154 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
