I just had the most disturbing reaction, at a storage facility, which had already a major violation, in 2021, regarding non-processing of payment properly, and the handling of that mistake, in an appropriate manner. 2 months ago, I ended my renting, at this facility, due to moving, and finally having the space for stored items. I gave them required 10-day notice, and moved all items before the end of the final day. A few weeks goes by, and I receive a deposit refund check, dated February 21, 2024, in the amount of $20.00. I would finally cash this check, around 3 weeks later, giving it not any real thought. However, I got it back from bank, on March 23, 2024, stamped return reason - NOT SUFFICIENT FUNDS. I called the office, and must've been answering service. As of Monday, received not 1 call. I bet the bankx2 service charges will be more than the check. (Each bank...each charge). Pretty bad, when can't even write a TWENTY DOLLAR CHECK, WHICH WOULD CASH. I've been writing checks 45 years. Never had that problem. I'M RE-WRITING MY REVIEW, DATED: September 6, 2021. I went there on September 3, 2021, to pay a month rent. A lady took my credit card, and said I was good. She logged me on some visitor sheet.on the morning of the 6th of September, I received a late notice, saying I owed for the month, + $10.00 PENALTY. The boss was out-of-state on Labor day, so I went the next day, right after opening time. People arriving after me were helped, while I wait, unwillingly. I noticed, while paying, that card numbers were entered on a keyboard. Pretty obvious what happened. The card number entered incorrectly. I wonder: was he even half as convicting on mistake maker, as he was on me? May never know the answer to that. If, for some reason, once they knew my transaction not complete, why not tell me, instead of late notice?? I guess, if a bank error, they'll absorb all the costs. I work with that bank, too. I mean, a 20 mistake. That just can't be. I just paid an overpayment of $4.38, to St. PAULS United methodist church. People have a long road ahead. Just keep getting more dishonest. They won't be going to same home, as me. ... Read more

Worst storage I've had in my life, you pay ND the don't open your unit when said going to, you steadily having to call them for their diligence and accountability. Now I have mice in my unit and it's on me bc I don't have insurance? It's your responsibility to keep them out of everyone's unit not the clients job to do your diligence. Offer to put poison in my unit so they an die in my belongings?! Complete and utterly disgusting to have said business with this place. I'll be taking my things and money else where. ... Read more

Wouldn't even gave them a star if i didnt have too! Dont matter if they have video surveillance or not..i got a phone call on march 16th..said i needed to come down to storage..said it didnt have a lock on it..i went down to find that my unit had been emptied. Was in there the last day in feb..everything was fine. Said they noticed the lock missing on march 2nd..said they thought i moved out. And yet i went in on the 4th of march to pay storage, they took my money we talked for a few..and he never said anything to me about no lock being on my unit.they hold video for 14 days then it starts recording over..how convenient that there was no proof of who done it..even though i know who did..but because of negelance there's no proof. The owner acted like he understood how up set i was..when he was not..i asked hom who did he think should be held responsible? He said my ex..i said your correct except for 1 thing..because you didnt contact me on the 2nd when you noticed the lock gone.and waited till the 16th..there is no proof..so there for your responsible. In my opinion i believe that an employee was paid off by my ex..because thats the only way he would of been able to get my code..my unit number..in the process of proving it. So i wouldnt trust my belongings with AAA on MacArthur. Because they may have cameras but it dont mean you will catch who does it.46 years of my life is gone..including my dads ashes..was forced to live in a camper because of my ex..so everything went to storage a place i trusted . Dont make the same mistake i did! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at AAA Storage - 530 East MacArthur include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Gate, Parking and Credit Cards Accepted. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by AAA Storage - 530 East MacArthur start from $50 and can go up to $115 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
