Read some helpful reviews of CubeSmart Self Storage at 240 SE 29th Street, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I called to make a reservation for a specific size storage unit. I happened to get Corporate instead of Topeka. I was transferred to the Topeka office and they didn't answer. So, I we to their office. There is one location in Topeka, so that makes things easier, right? Wrong! When I spoke to the person at the desk she took down my information on the reserved unit, and couldn't find my name or reservation. Well, that unit I had reserved a couple hours earlier had been rented and not by me, she questioned me several times on was I positive I had the correct location. I told her several times "there is only one location in Topeka, how can I get the wrong one. The woman I spoke with on the phone repeated the address 420 SE 29th St, so I know I had the right one . So I rented a unit a little smaller. When renting this unit everything went smoothly, she was nice and friendly, apologized about the issue and the reservation. Anyway, I have rented a unit, I didn't get the discounted price, but I was tired of talking and trying to work with them. I needed the unit because I have to have things out of my apartment by Mat 31st. I had given my 30 day notice to my landlord because I had gotten married and we finally found a house together, with a fenced yard for our dogs to run free instead of walking on a leash! Well, the house will not be completed by then, things happen, its ok. It'll be ready in less than the end of the 2nd week! ... Read more

I"ve had a unit with this place for the past year. The manager Stacey and her employee Ashley constantly go above and beyond when it comes to service. The prices are reasonable, the building is always clean and kept at a reasonable temperature. The two ladies in the office are always willing to answer questions and assist with anything big or small. would recommend. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at CubeSmart Self Storage - 240 SE 29th Street include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Parking, Enclosed, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 21 to 480 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by CubeSmart Self Storage - 240 SE 29th Street start from $91 and can go up to $317 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
