Toni was absolutely wonderful to work with. From the very beginning, she was kind, outgoing, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. What impressed me most was how far she went above and beyond...not only helping me with my storage unit needs, but also offering helpful contacts and guidance as I transition through my move and work on my home. It is rare to come across someone with such genuine kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help others. Toni made what could have been a stressful process feel easy and welcoming. If more people carried themselves the way Toni does, the world would truly be a much better place. I highly recommend anyone looking for a storage unit or exceptional customer service to reach out to Toni. You will not be disappointed. Thank you again, Toni, for your kindness, positivity, and outstanding service. ... Read more

The things I’ve heard in my life from other people and my own personal experience (with family and friends) I’ve had with storage places this one is beyond the best I have EVER witnessed. It’s reasonably priced and the owner has the best intentions for her customers!! She’s helped me on the whole process and worked with me through payment struggles (without high end extra fees might I add) and importantly upmost kindness and care for you and your belongings. As this was my first time handling storage on my own and she’s made it the best and smoothest experience anyone could ever ask for! They have cameras for surveillance, automatic lights above each storage unit and even have local officers frequently patrol around to ensure your things are protected. If you’re ever looking for a great place to store your things, I HIGHLY recommend you to come here! ... Read more

I needed a storage unit to store my dad's things when he moved from assisted living to skilled nursing. The management was willing to work with me to schedule a time to sign papers that fit my visits from KC. I arrived at the appointment during a surprise snow storm and the woman at the desk was so welcoming and helpful. I always feel safe coming and going from the unit and have had no issues with anything. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at B-B Mini Storage - 210 Joplin Street include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Unstaffed Location and Parking. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
