It has been so traumatic renting from this location and through PS. First, I rented online and they went over the drive up unit I rented, only to assign and inside upstairs unit. Then charged me for the lock for that unit. When I had them transfer it I had to pay for ANOTHER lock which 6 weeks later still has not been refunded. I cannot get them to put my two units onto one account and have to call in to pay on my second unit that is 35 a month and 10 payment fee! If I didnt have so much stuff, I would move to another storage company. It has been that awful. No one calls you back, customers service is rude. I recommend going with a smaller local company! ... I had much respect for Public Storage. I like their facilities because they're always pretty clean. When I signed up, there was a promotional price at $136 which was great. Fast forward a few months, price went up to $153. Fast forward today, it's almost $200. I'm going to cancel the membership and will never do business with this company again. I've reported them to the BBB in hopes others won't go through this mess. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 11230 Mastin Street include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 11230 Mastin Street start from $26 and can go up to $325 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
