Read some helpful reviews of A-1 Self Storage at 1435 North Indiana 67, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

If you need a place to store your excess stuff it'll work. I won't lie though, we've had a lot of problems getting in and out of this place, the gate is incredibly finicky and their attempts to fix it always lead to problems. However they do have banger customer service that has helped us out every time we needed it. If you pay a little extra for climate control you'll get what you pay for ... Read more

Me and my family was locked in at 9:31 pm. I was there helping my mother clear out her storage and when we tried to leave as I said at 9:31pm the gate wouldn't open We had to call V.P.D to get the gate open and my mom will be calling to get a reason why. And btw you're lucky we don't press charges. Re: So what you're saying is that you knowing lock people In if they do not leave on time and you need to recheck you're camera's because I remember looking at the time when I got out the car to put the code in. My mom had an Anxiety attack, you shouldn't make it to. Where people can't leave after a certain time. I understand getting in, but getting out is ridiculous. You should not be able to lock people in. ... Read more

The new owners have made a ton of improvements which have really cleaned up the place. The rates are great compared to many places in the area, and the few times I’ve had a question I’ve been able to get ahold of someone quickly and easily. Definitely been a pleasure to use them compared to my previous storage experience. ... Read more

Don’t waste your money renting from here. The new management company who took over is a joke. Raised rent to “upgrade” the property but has taken months to even do that. Almost half of the units door seals are non existent or cracked and broken. It’s always a battle to even get ahold of anyone from the location for any questions or concerns since it’s all a 3rd party. I sent my keys in WITH A LETTER THEY SHOULD HAVE READ of my new mailing address and they must not have even looked at it because they still sent it to the wrong address and now I’m fighting to get my deposit back. True blue storage across the street is newer more modern and way safe and better to deal with. Would have stayed with them if I wasn’t desperate to store my stuff. Next time I will be looking elsewhere. UPDATE: well after 3 months I finally got my check in the mail to the correct address. ... Read more

Had my unit broken into where $4000 worth of stuff was stolen. Managers of facility then took 12 days to notify me that unit had been broken into. After receiving this news I drove there immediately to find they placed lock on unit and no one was there or would answer to come unlock my unit to see what was missing. I had insurance through Vader but because they placed lock and threw away the cut lock insurance will not cover my claim cause there was no evidence of burglary just theft. The property managers told me that multiple units were broken into however they told Bader the insurance group no other units were broken into resulting in me losing $4000 worth of stuff and not getting any assistance from the storage facility or the insurance group. Go across the street to Tru Blue storage much better people to work with and safer environment that actually cares about there customers. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at A-1 Self Storage - 1435 North Indiana 67 include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 360 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by A-1 Self Storage - 1435 North Indiana 67 start from $35 and can go up to $115 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
