Rates are subject to fluctuating at any given time. Rented a 10×10 unit for 85.00 with insurance started May 1st, 2024. By March 1st, 2025, I was informed my unit was going up to 152 a month. Not even a year later, and it just went up in Jan from 85 to 114. I moved my stuff to a different storage facility at the endof March. I'm totally satisfied now. ... Read more

I’ve been here for about a year or so. I can’t tell you how many times they done raised the rent on us! Literally almost every 3 months the rent goes up 20 or more dollars. I’ve been trying to get in touch with someone about an issue we are having and my husband has been trying to call also and I keep getting the run around or just no one picking up. It’s “I’ll find out and call you back” this has been at least three days. We NEED answers. My husband calls back everyday to see if they heard something and leaves messages and still absolutely nothing. We are trying to do the right thing before the new month starts and keep getting screwed over! I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Hassle after hassle and not worth the headache. Especially with them raising rent all the time!!! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 1801 West Coliseum Blvd include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 250 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 1801 West Coliseum Blvd start from $38 and can go up to $198 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
