If you need storage as I did for my car. I was able to speak to Luke Wade at the office. He is an excellent representative for Red Dot Storage in Zion. He went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied with the Storage area and its security. ... Read more

First the kiosk rental was super easy and quick. The units were super affordable it wasn’t even a big deal that I ran out of room and needed to rent an additional unit. The only issue I had was the passcode I was given upon signing up did not work. And once I got the second unit it stopped working again. HOWEVER the chat feature was super quick and convenient. My issue was solved via chat while I was sitting at the gate. There was virtually no wait for assistance. ... Read more

By far the worst storage place I have ever rented from. When we had that heavy snow fall it took them four to five days to actually come through and plow so that cars can get in. But what they ended up doing was pushing most of the snow up against the storage units and the fence. So you had to dig your own way into your storage unit. But that's not the end of it. Once I was able to Get into my unit. Period. I couldn't get it closed. Could not get anybody there that night until the next day. Since I couldn't be there they went ahead and closed my storage unit for me. But when I went back I couldn't open the latch it's like they took something and slammed the latch shut. Not only was my experience with the storage unit horrible, but the customer service is not up to par either. When I requested to speak to a manager, they asked me if I wanted to stay on hold or have somebody call me back. I told him I wanted to stay on hold. Then they told me we will call you back. They called me back 5 hours later. Still can't get into my storage unit. Going to be moving out at the end of this month since they do not prorate your stay. Very sad experience ... Read more

I have been at Red Dot since May 2018! Although the price is right for secured storage it is NEVER secured. The gate is always broken. Since May it's been broke a total of 10 weeks. They take their sweet time fixing it. Always an excuse. Last time it was down there were people cutting off red locks and removing their stuff. Dont rent from them. You have been warned ... Read more

Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Storage Rentals of America - 3305 16th Street start from $19 and can go up to $115 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
