I’ve had the unit for 3 weeks.. paid $150 to not be able to access my unit but one time when I moved my stuff in.. Call to speak to higher up and that’s not allowed they have to send a ticket out for someone to get back with me. Pathetic. I guess I should’ve read reviews before even going about this storage unit, as everyone else is stating they haven’t been able to access the units from TWO MONTHS AGO.. surely it’s a simple fix that nobody has put time or effort into. I feel bad for the lady in Oswego office who has to listen to people complain and give attitude like myself because we cannot access our own units that WE pay for?! Get it together. Can’t wait for my phone call, they’re not going to be happy with this customer!!! ... Read more

This storage unit on 204 Wolf street in Yorkville is a joke. I've had my unit since last Friday. I tried several times to get into the gates, I have tried several times to use the code I was given, and the gate will not open. I have also used the temporary code they have given me, and the gate will not open. I haven't been able to use my unit at all since I got it Friday. They need to fix that damn gate. This is not customer satisfaction. I've had two locations with the same problem where the gate does not work. I am having a very difficult time working with these people to cancel out my storage units and get a refund back. I've also have a unit over on Bridge Street in Yorkville and that did the same thing too where the gate did not open with the code I haven't used any of my units. I have also put a request in for closing the units and requesting a refund and they said pretty quickly resolution resolved but not telling me what the resolution is. I don't think they have no idea what they're doing ... Read more

Great storage facility but access code was a bit troublesome. Mine did not work. It took a 10 minute phone call to get the gate open. I was assured the issue was fixed. A return trip later in the day and the same problem. I was told it was a Tech issue so hoping it's resolved for my next visit. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Storage Rentals of America - 204 Wolf Street include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location, Kiosk Available, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Storage Rentals of America - 204 Wolf Street start from $39 and can go up to $167 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
